Anyone watching this crap. Weary stuff.
Not too happy we're probably going back to this.

It’ll be exciting because we’ll tear the Championship apart.

I think that Hull's plan is to pass the ball between themselves until the Sunderland players get so bored they eventually fall asleep allowing Hull to get a shot at goal. Which they, of course, with blast into the crowd.

Well, it's certainly working on me, so it might work.

Rob Jones doing what he does best, every tackle by a Hull player goes into the book, Sunderland get next to nothing

It’s frightening how far away the Championship is from the Premier League now. Something would have to go disastrously wrong for us not to bounce straight back. There’s a distinct possibility the relegated/promoted teams of last season will be swapping places at the end of this season. I don’t think that has ever happened before which tells its own story.

This match is a perfect example of how Guardiolas’ pass, pass, pass will kill football. He has the players to do it but not many others do, especially in the lower divisions, and it ends up as a slow paced yawn fest.
The PL sold itself around the world on tight games played fast. There are more entertaining games now in Germany, Spain and even Italy.

Or more likely is that it leads to another cycle where teams use a different formula to beat it. Possibly the lower block with everyone behind the ball and counter attacking at pace.

Its gone out of the game a bit because the players dont seem to accept it for long at the big clubs, but if a manager can get a team fully on board with it it can still work

Given our difficulty in scoring goals and the amount of 'wonder goals' from Tella, Zaroury and Benson last season, I would not count my chickens.
