March TV Games

Post by BradTee93 » Mon Jan 22, 2024 11:05 am

Apologies if this has already been asked.

Does anyone know when they’re likely to confirm the dates and kick offs for the March games? Trains for West Ham are on sale but can guarantee if I buy them now they’ll move the game 😅

There's a big sale on rail tickets starting tomorrow. Might be able to pick up some cheap fares for Palace and West Ham, obviously would help if they'd confirm the date for West Ham. Wouldn't like to book Sunday when there's a small chance it could be a Monday night game.

I think given the second leg will be on Thursday 14th March, West Ham won't play Monday night. But definitely safer to wait really.

I'm assuming Friday, I think we're into 5 week commitment territory now.

Are we really expecting any to be chosen?

Realistically no, but I'm sure you've got to have so many on each broadcaster throughout the season? Maybe wrong on that

It used to be that you got paid for 10 even if you were on less, but I don't know if that's changed.

The base number has definitely increased from ten.

You never know - I thought we’d be on in Feb with Liverpool and Arsenal but we weren’t.

But don’t the tv companies know that Burnley are playing much more entertaining football under our new structure.

The fact that we have been losing games left right and centre surely makes us more of an attractive club to feature ie more goals on show 🙄

Do the games that get moved because a team is in Europe rather than because it is a televised game get announced at the same time?

I'm assuming it's because West Hams European tie has not been fully confirmed yet, even though we know they are playing that week, their opponent hasn't been confirmed - therefore the date hasn't - almost nailed on for Sunday 2pm though.

I think that’s when they are confirmed

Some companies appear to like to see us get battered.

City away?

It appears only the first weekend in March is going to be announced today with the rest of the month to come next week.

Well, good thing I don't fly out until Monday March 4th... i had a feeling that the Bournemouth match was going to be moved to sunday the 3rd with their cup run.
