Thing is the Dyche side very nearly stayed up which gave us a platform to build on, this side won't get within a dozen points of safety and will probably go down with a number of young players scarred by the experience of this season

I think give him next season, see if he can do the same as last year and then he gets 10 games in the prem for me to see if he's learned his lessons from this season. Absolutely spot on. We were at least relatively competitive and never really cut adrift. This season we are On course to struggle to break the 20 point barrier. Regardless of what happened last season that is 100% unacceptable in anyones book and deserves the sack.

I can see us keeping VK and having an indifferent season next year. What will people say then? You’ve just wasted the season by being loyal because of last season.

Been an out for me for ages. Too late now as the board decided this was want they wanted. Nothing will change from now til the end of the season. The only problem with that is that assuming we can bounce back (not a given by any means) is that if he assembles another lightweight group of players to tackle the PL any new manager will be lumbered with them.

When we got promoted I genuinely thought last years team would come easily mid table .. when we didn’t sign Tella I was gobsmacked and when we seemed to replace the whole team I was thinking this is a massive gamble and usually never works changing the whole team .. trust in VK .. but now I’m sure VK doesn’t know what he is doing and has wasted so much money

Will the board give him the money to buy the league again like we did last time?

I’m not so sure they will after he wasted £100m on trash like Trafford this summer.
