We live in strange times. We want to know everything about everyone - even to a voyeuristic level. If you say you're not into 'reality' trash TV, Facebook or whatever, you're castigated as an odd one out.

Agreed there.

It only seems to be like this though in fairness in the US and the UK; those on the continent don't seem anywhere near as into this stuff as us.
