against the run of play

Post by pushpinpussy » Sun Mar 03, 2024 2:11 pm

Cant make the game today but watching on TV and we are the better team and unlucky to be behind. Can see a Burnley win here. get behind the lads and stop all this negativity on here. it really is a depressing place.

I'm still hoping we manage to get a goal and then go on and win it 3-1
rather than Bournemouth get another.
Sounds like our best performance for a long time.

Had enough chances in the FH. Poor finishing is costing us dear. No end product will see us relegated.

No need for opposition to claim the ball. Just wait until the chances come or we shoot ourselves in the foot.
We are desperately predictable

And even when we do equalise it is ruled out for a marginal free-kick call instead of the usual 'Let's see what VAR say' attitude from the ref. Then there is a penalty shout after, to be fair, minimal contact, that isn't given despite similar contact being seen as enough to chalk off Cullen's goal.

Bournemouth bang average yet we barely laid a glove on them, no urgency and that’s on the manager.
