Plymouth should have bagged 8 in the last half hour I watched. Their finishing was shocking.

Just seen the camaraderie of the Luton team at the end of the game. Felt like a very united team who don't know when they are beaten

Zaroury becoming a cult figure at Hull showing with a bit of game time what he can do … I know it’s in the championship but he does play for Morocco and their not in the championship

Sheff Utd scored, twice, which generally goes in your favour when looking for a result.

Big win for Stoke at PNE which turns the pressure up on Rovers, who have a tough run coming up.

3m quid a place to play for. Even coming down 3rd bottom is a big difference.jedi_master wrote: ↑Sat Mar 09, 2024 4:42 pmSheffield United could win every game till the end of the season 5-0 and I wouldn’t care (well, bar against us I suppose). What does it matter anymore? We’re down and have been since before the pumpkins were being put out. Relax and look forward to next season, it cannot come quick enough. Literally no point in wallowing in misery.

What makes you think City and Chelsea will be queuing up to loan us players next seasonVegas Claret wrote: ↑Sat Mar 09, 2024 5:03 pmbut we also have 5 loan spaces in the Championship. We are pretty nailed on to use them all and probably with City and Chelsea
And what will we get from them anyway - young kids with no experience
We have enough of them already

Re: Today's Football
He doesn’t play for Morocco. He wasn’t in their Afcon squad, hasn’t played since a short sub appearance in June for one of the Afcon qualifiers.Carlos the Great wrote: ↑Sat Mar 09, 2024 5:11 pmZaroury becoming a cult figure at Hull showing with a bit of game time what he can do … I know it’s in the championship but he does play for Morocco and their not in the championship
After that he’s played a combined 49 minutes in two friendlies that sandwich the meaningless third place playoff game in the Qatar World Cup.
I rate Zaroury (or at least his potential) but let’s not pretend he’s anything other than slightly above average Championship player with a bit of flair at the moment.

He has been one of the signings of the season. For me a risk, but he has proved people wrong. If his package stays the same he may remain at Luton, as he may not play every week in other PL teamsVegas Claret wrote: ↑Sat Mar 09, 2024 5:15 pmit'll be interesting to see what happens to Barkley if they drop, he looks at home there.

Yeah they got a good version of him this season. If Forest get whacked there is every chance Luton stay upwarksclaret wrote: ↑Sat Mar 09, 2024 5:22 pmHe has been one of the signings of the season. Re: Today's Football
I'm not sure that was down to his brilliance as much as an assembled group of players coming together better than anyone could have imagined, getting on a run, and wins begetting wins... he looked as stunned as many of us were at the end of some games last season
If he was so good he'd have had a better stab at sorting the problems last season.

Completely nonsensical to blame Kompany for this season’s disaster but not give him credit for last season’s success.BobSykes wrote: ↑Sat Mar 09, 2024 5:27 pmI'm not sure that was down to his brilliance as much as an assembled group of players coming together better than anyone could have imagined, getting on a run, and wins begetting wins... he looked as stunned as many of us were at the end of some games last season

Just need a keeper howler tomorrow and we'll have had a full house and i'll be thoroughly convinced that we live in a simulation because the scenario in which we find ourselves in right now isn't just a bit strange - it's utterly absurd!

Re: Today's Football
that's the world we are living in Riley. It's pretty sad how impatient and reactionary some people are - not just Burnley fans btw, it happens all over the place. WHU fans wanting rid of Moyes whilst sitting 7th or 8th in the PL and after winning a trophy, Arsenal fans wanted Arteta gone. Very rare chopping and changing a manager every season or so works.

Re: Today's Football
"Camus played goalkeeper for the Racing Universitaire d'Alger junior team from 1928 to 1930. The sense of team spirit, fraternity, and common purpose appealed to him enormously.n match reports, he was often praised for playing with passion and courage. Any football ambitions, however, disappeared when he contracted tuberculosis.Camus drew parallels among football, human existence, morality, and personal identity. For him, the simplistic morality of football contradicted the complicated morality imposed by authorities such as the state and Church."Culmclaret wrote: ↑Sat Mar 09, 2024 5:39 pmAlbert was a bloody good keeper. Delighted for Anass. From what I could tell he was getting a lot of stick off the Hull fans so hopefully that settles it and he gets a decent run now.
Also pleased for McNally. Think that was in his comeback from injury.
