Kick opposition, cheat con Luton are definitely a team to admire?
You are making yourself look a bit daft with this constant stance of what Luton are. It is ok to accept that a team expected to come bottom does better than everyone thought. To keep labelling them as you do just shows a lack of either knowledge or maturity, maybe even both.

Here are some stats from this season so far

Luton yellow cards 54 Burnley yellow cards 54
Luton red cards 0 Burnley red cards 5 (top of the league)
Luton free kicks conceded 327 Burnley free kicks conceded 314

That has to the bottle job of the century?!! 3 up at half time and losing 4-3. Wowser!

I've been impressed with Luton this season, as many have been. They're clearly a limited team pulled together on a shoestring budget, so they hark back to the first promotion under Dyche for many, but that's a shocker last night; a season defining shocker.

It'll go down as their "sliding doors" moment. A bit like the Leicester game where Taylor missed the penalty for us and they went straight up the other end and won it. We all knew that the season was done in that moment.

The bottom three is nailed on now. Mentally, they aren't coming back from losing from that position.
Agreed, that's a result that just kills teams that have been playing above themselves.

Well said-people on here do not seem to realise what can happen in the PL. Last week Villa were looking comfortable and let 4 goals in during a frenzied second half. They also got pasted at Newcastle by 5 goals earlier in the season, but then had the most convincing win over Man City this season and played some fantastic football under Emery. Newcastle have also been pasted 5-0 twice this year. The real test though is, can these sides bounce back-do they have the character. I have seen enough of Luton to know that they can, and I am certain the Forest team right now are not rubbing their hands at the likely prospect of 3 points on Saturday.Time will tell

Can't see Luton recovering from that hammering in the second half,it's season over for them. What is vital now is for us to kick on and hope the points deductions take place and we scrape home, long shot but our only hope.

Amazing that had we hung on at west ham and 6 points deduction fit Forest and we would have a chance of survival. But of course we didn’t

Again, bitter big time Charlie. I certainly admire them, if only for their effort and application.

I know. Disgusting that we couldn't hold on away against a team 7th in the league that have only spent 400,000,000 over the last 3 seasons.

This might have been posted further up the thread, I don't know, but Luton's recent form in terms of results is interesting.

We all seem to think they are on a decent run but since they beat Brighton 4-0 on 30th January, they have played seven Premier League games and won two points from draws against Newcastle and Crystal Palace, losing the other five.

It would have been nice to be at least in a relegation battle this season … looks like the 3 that went up will come back down

who was it/ what game ?
Wolves against Leicester in 2003/04. Leicester were 3-0 up at half time but Wolves won 4-3 at Molineux.

The only other occasion in the Premier League was two seasons earlier when Manchester United came from 3-0 down at half time to beat Spurs 5-3 at White Hart Lane.

I still believe we'll finish above them.

We’d only be four points behind had their goal on the Turf been ruled out.

Yes, and the two stolen at Forest would see us very close to both them and Luton.

All ifs and buts, but for me whilst we have had some poor decisions, we would be peed off had we scored the Ings goal disallowed on Sunday. We play 38 games a season and we are focusing on the VAR decisions that have gone against us

Yes, that's OK in the broader sense.
But 4 points lost to 2 of our main rivals through very poor decisions is massively detrimental
