Just said the same to Mrs jos, “Let it go, nothings going to change it now” , and she’s right but I’m still fizzing about the injustice!

Re: Today's Football
notice how Brighton players, especially Dunk, are charging after the ref any time a Liverpool player commits a foul. Tossers

Hope Liverpool see this out. Brighton are horrendous, constantly diving and moaning at the ref (who has been terrible)

Not a surprise to me, Brighton have always done that. It's a club culture thing.Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Sun Mar 31, 2024 2:51 pmnotice how Brighton players, especially Dunk, are charging after the ref any time a Liverpool player commits a foul. Tossers

Re: Today's Football
Superb result, divers go home with nothing.
Re: Today's Football
*Agreed ... had the Ref given the pen VAR would have backed him but he didn't give a pen so VAR backed him ...
Its time we had independent VAR officials and not part of the Old Boys Ref Club.
Re: Today's Football
Why did the ref not book Jesus then it was more of a foul than either of Assignons yesterday must be because he plays for Arsenal

Re: Today's Football
I’ve spent the first 20mins watching Haaland as he has such a poor record against the top 6.
He’s like a flagpole. No movement, even when there were obvious balls into him.
He’ll probably score now and then his job is done.

Re: Today's Football
is there any danger of players actually wanting to play the game instead of surrounding the refs after every single decision ? It's so tedious

Re: Today's Football
Must have missed the announcement that cynical fouls are no longer yellow cards. I assume that rule only applies to certain clubs though
Re: Today's Football
Is it because they're wearing different coloured socks?

As an all round footballer he isn't fit to lace Harry Kane's boots.Tricky Trevor wrote: ↑Sun Mar 31, 2024 4:52 pmI’ve spent the first 20mins watching Haaland as he has such a poor record against the top 6.

Hadn’t realised that Kevin Keegan had become Peps number 2.

I think that is being complimentary, watching paint dry would be spectacular compared to this.

Very rarely do these games live up to expectations.
I'm watching whilst renovating a nest of tables !!
Guess which is more enjoyable and rewarding !!!!!

Re: Today's Football
To be expected - two brilliant teams cancelling each other out. And in the context of the title race, a draw is fine for either of them, but a loss would be a disaster.

Whatever happened to the art of crossing a ball ?
Shocking attempts throughout by both sides today.

Re: Today's Football
That was awful.
Everytime City got the ball, slow it down, don't cross the halfway line until Arsenal have reset the backline.
Slow, slow, slower, slower, slow.
Yawn.
At least Arsenal worked for the point they were happy with, but City deserved nothing.

Had to miss it due to them deciding to put it on at team team on Easter Sunday, with no thought for viewers family commitments… glad I missed SFA and will catch up on motd2 for the general gist.Colburn_Claret wrote: ↑Sun Mar 31, 2024 6:27 pmThat was awful.

Re: Today's Football
There were 2 things that I thought were pretty much “nailed on” this weekend. A low scoring draw between Manchester City and Arsenal and that neither of the crews would jump into the Thames at the end of the Boat Race. The fear factor evident in both outcomes.
