Re: Who did this?
37 League goals for us in 192 appearances. (Wiki)
(Just seen that in the article, sorry)
Wasn't the greatest we've had up front, a long, long way off that, obviously. But not the worst (god, that's a high bar).
As said, could run all day, but to little effect.

Re: Who did this?
He once missed a sitter at the Jimmy Mac end early in a game because of a really bad touch. My mate said to me that he was like a dog with a balloon so I used it in my match report.

Re: Who did this?
He missed an even 'worse sitter' away at Preston in a game we won 2-3. Arthur Ghohere getting the winner. Think it was just after they had equalised and from the kick off the other Moore hit the bar with a great effort, the ball dropped perfectly for Ian Moore's head in front of a gaping goal with the keeper on the floor and he managed not to score.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Wed Apr 17, 2024 4:14 pmHe once missed a sitter at the Jimmy Mac end early in a game because of a really bad touch. Re: Who did this?
I remember that well, Silky. With the keeper sprawling, he had all the net to aim at, but managed to hit the goalie.Silkyskills1 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 17, 2024 4:47 pmHe missed an even 'worse sitter' away at Preston in a game we won 2-3. An unbelievable miss.
Re: Who did this?
Missed some bad ones but scored a few worldies too. Sheff Weds away, PNE away (his first goal), his lob against Fulham in the cup.
He did pretty well for us when we were top of the league, alongside Taylor, but we didn't get enough out of him overall.

Re: Who did this?
He was quick when we first signed him but I’m not sure he was actually good at anything at all. A supremely untalented footballer in my opinion.

Re: Who did this?

Our first one million pound player, wasn't he?
