Dodgson starts for Dundee. Our other two on the bench.

Mellon is the one not getting much game time.

This is Dodgson’s 9th start, Costelloe has started 8 but Mellon just 2.

That was some touch from Bellingham in the build up to the Madrid goal.

When I've looked, they seem to give Mellon 30 mins or so, second half.

A couple of late introductions but usually gets between 20 & 30 mins. Hasn’t started though since 3rd Feb.

The standard on show in the Man City v Real Madrid game is immense. City being the most proactive but look very vulnerable at the back. Madrid have a very clever game plan and I can see them scoring again before the night is out.

City all over them like a rash. Madrid with 6 across the back at times.

Only a matter of time I reckon. With this pressure they may even get a penalty.

The quality on show is frightening.

Not as good a game as last week but some outrageous skills. Two great coaches so the HT team talks would be something to earwig.

Owen Dodgson is playing well at left back in the kickers league perhaps he's worth considering in next seasons first team pool.

I think City need Doku on here. It’s too one-dimensional at the minute.

Bellingham needs to force himself into this game - for all his talent he's been a complete passenger.

Just the way the games going. He’s done far more than Foden has.

That Dutch bloke for city is not bad.

Don't know the stats, but City must be pushing 70% possession.

Only one winner now imo, but we'll see.

Yeah they were lacking directness for the first hour. As good as Grealish is he can be a bit like a crab which isn’t the most effective against a team with every player behind the ball.

City are so 1 dimensional. Get it out wide, get to the goalline and play it into the heart of the box on the ground. RM brilliantly drilled to expect it. Congrats Ancelotti.
No shots from outside the box, even though they scored 2 in Madrid, no crosses in the air all night, even though Haaland is 6’3”.
I wanted City to win but they still bore me.

You can see that Kompany is a fully paid up alcolyte of Peps tactics , looked exactly the same as us passing it around the box with no penetration and no long range shots. Exactly like how Burnley play but with 100m more skillful players, Madrid defended with 10 behind the ball most way through that second half. Dont think Madrid deserved the win tbh but City only have themsevles to blame.

and it's not like they didn't create chances against a team that hardly got more than 20 yards from their goal for 119 mins.
