Everyone bar Sammie should have been playing this season in Burnley shirts, they play like double agents.

Haven't been on their forum at all this season, its not as enjoyable when we are also losing most weeks.

I'm sure I'll have a look back on next season if we are in the same division

The difference is, Muric is actually a very good goalkeeper, but their goalie is a useless sack of spuds.

He should be called Lemon, not Pears.

"Sammie" looks like he's kept them up single handedly.
The unexpected win at Leeds probably does it, unfortunately, although they're not safe yet.

We'll just have to do 'em again next season. ;)

I didn't realise how many goals Szmodics had scored. 31, same as Haaland. There's no way he'll be there next season.

They do seem to find one striker - who they convince themselves is Prem quality - who saves them. I've had them tell me that Rhodes, Gestede, Armstrong, Brereton and now this lad 'Sammie' will all be going for £30m and could score loads in the top flight. Doubt they got a dozen between them all when given the chance.

Two games left are against Coventry & Leicester

Cov have nothing to play for, but hopefully not deflated after yesterday and Leicester will be going for the title

Rovers will be wise to cash-in, he's 28.

Coventry are 9 points behind with 2 games in hand. Win them and it's 3 behind with 2 games left.

I wouldn't call it nothing to play for.

Based on yesterday's magnificent effort I don't think Coventry throw in the towel that easily. Think they have a home game midweek v Hull. A lot will depend on that outcome regarding their remaining fixtures. It is asking and expecting a lot from them, however, to raise performances again to the level in their semi final yesterday.

Coventry have 2 extra games to play. If they beat Hull on Weds, the Rovers game becomes huge for them.

If they had to win one of the last two, beating Leeds was the better option. They would probably have been safe if they had lost to Leeds and beaten Wednesday.

Just watched their highlights. Some goal by Windass for Wednesday's first and their third goal is hilarious. Well worth a watch if you want to feel better about our recent GK errors

Couple of Wednesday fans at work I was chatting to the other day, said that Rovers had given them an inital 7,000 tickets - when those sold out, they gave them another 1,000 - when those went, they were offering Hospitality lounges galore.

Weird they didn't want money last season when they weren't involved in anything, but this season, they take the money even when it drags them back into the relegation worries..... strange bunch that lot.

All went Pear shaped for them yesterday. Anybody else notice Brereton wipe out Assignon in first 10 secs on Saturday Totally deliberate and off the ball. He was desperate to beat us but failed miserably

If they'd got a point off us in that game they would have made the playoffs, to be fair. Did see a lot of their fans complaining about the allocation given to Wednesday as well. Be a real shame if it came back to bite them

I think, statistically, without his goals, Rovers would be on less than 35 points and already relegated

We all had them down to lose at Leeds but win v sheff weds. That gave them 3 points… they’ve STILL got the three points, but it helps in that they came from Leeds and not from Weds…. Better this way surely?

It's not even biased to say they are seriously crap at the minute. Unfortunately, Szmodics is having the season of his life which digs them out of a hole.

Really not sure how the defeat yesterday will affect Coventry, either floor them morale-wise, or galvanize them to bouncing back.

The fact that they've got a couple of games in hand hopefully will spur them on.

But R*vers were absolutely terrible yesterday.

There is still a reasonable chance they could be relegated at the weekend. Rovers have Leicester at home which I would expect them to lose. A win for Birmingham and Plymouth, who both have home games and a draw for Sheff Wed who are away at Sunalan and the trap door to third tier football swings open.

If you fancy a flutter you can get better odds on Leicester, Plymouth and Birmingham to win, plus Sheffield Wednesday double chance, which is the only scenario which relegates them. Can't see both of Plymouth and Brum winning unfortunately.

Leicester surely on the beach now they have the title sewn up though. Hopefully they'll play a few fringe or young players looking for a new deal or something. If bloody Leeds hadn't have messed up royally a few weeks back they'd have been right in the mire.

Leicester
Plymouth
Birmingham
Sheff weds or draw
Everton
Burnley
Sheffield United

Listening to Vardy after the game they are firmly going for the 100 points.

He's a frustrated man, obviously doesn't feel he's contributed enough this season.

He won't be on the beach.

Vardy would run himself into the ground in a meaningless friendly, but most of the others would be forgiven for not being as full-blooded as usual now everything's sorted. 100 points is a bonus. Hopefully they'll do the business anyway.

Issue which happened last weekend with Norwich drawing with Swansea is that they still need a win against Birmingham for the play offs, plus Hull now have a chance when they play Plymouth, think Rovers win at Leeds the other week will ultimately save them.

Personally, after seeing the incident, I thought he was very harshly treated for trying to retrieve the ball and restart the match

Norwich look pretty safe with a superior goal difference, Hull chasing a wobbling West Brom but need to win at Plymouth
and hope Baggies lose at home to Preston .. Hopefully WBA 3 up by half-time and Hull get the sun loungers out for the
2nd half ..
