Sessegnon and Walcott both gone out on loan, if we are skint why can’t we work in the loan market? Cotterill never had an issue putting a squad together without cash.

There will still command loan fees and a large percentage of wages being paid, sometimes even appearances clauses or further cash required to the parent club.
Our £5 budget wouldn't even cover a loan it seems.

I’d honestly consider bringing Cotterill in as Head of a Recruitment. He wasn’t the best of managers but he could spot talent at the right price, that’s for sure.

Perhaps because SD is far from keen in bringing players in on loan aside from the fact that we appear cash strapped at present.
Which loans have turned out really well under Dyche?

How many signings from Premier League clubs were people expecting, given we've already made one?
Remember we usually shop in the Championship and we have two weeks more to do so. This is not deadline day for the market we most commonly shop in.

RM to chase JBG for the starting spot. CB onto the conveyor belt.

If there is a spreadsheet somewhere with targets on it, I hope it doesn't go over 65,536 rows, we might miss somebody.
(sorry if that topical joke goes over a few heads, I'm spending my time today alternating [pointlessly] checking this thread, doing my work, and listening to the news in question)

You can do over a million rows in Excel, so plenty of potential.CrosspoolClarets wrote: ↑Mon Oct 05, 2020 4:50 pmIf there is a spreadsheet somewhere with targets on it, I hope it doesn't go over 65,536 rows, we might miss somebody.

Michael Kightly helped us get promotion and played well for us in the PL
Chalobah-SD only used him a few times but he later got in the Chelsea team and the England squad

Aye but we’ve had months to get in targets from a much wider pool. Championship players will now come at a premium because the pool is smaller and they know certain clubs will be desperately looking to strengthen.
It will snack of desperation is we start bidding for all and sundry in the Championship

Re: BFC TRANSFER NEWS SUMMER 2020(MUST CONTAIN LINK)
Chalobah did not flourish at Burnley under the loan system where he played just 66 minutes (45 of those coming in one game) with SD stating that the player had "failed to adapt to the Premier League". His loan terminated, Chalobah flourished on loan at Reading under the tutelage of Steve Clarke where he made more than 20 starts.

No worries mate. I'm like any other fan on deadline day. Equally excited but as you a bit like 'We've been here before'. Just been told we haven't turned off the fax machine yet if you know what I mean.FactualFrank wrote: ↑Mon Oct 05, 2020 5:16 pmI'm treating it all with trepidation, so it was bants.

Then that's fair enough. It's understandable for us to doubt people with everything that's coming.
If you have some good news and is willing to share, then I'm all for it.
Re: BFC TRANSFER NEWS SUMMER 2020(MUST CONTAIN LINK)
anyone else watching Sky Sports news and thinks Sue Smith is mirroring mannerisms that Jamie Carragher uses. I was going to be rude and infer that she is like Carragher in drag (as a slur against Carragher, not Sue), but I do like Sue and she is always very knowledgeable about the sport. I like Sue and detest Carragher...
