Re: BFC TRANSFER NEWS SUMMER 2020(MUST CONTAIN LINK)
From the BBC transfer page
Everton would like to get a deal for either Manchester United's Sergio Romero and Paulo Gazzaniga from Spurs over the line tonight.
Jordan Pickford's jitters - with another dreadful error against Brighton on Saturday - appear to have forced manager Carlo Ancelotti's hand.
If Everton do bring in a new keeper, and they drop Pickford down to a largely non playing role, it could be very helpful to Popes well deserved claim for the England number 1 spot ( his last match was merely a one off hiccup ).

You have to wonder what part of Donna he used and where's the rest of her?

Not sure you do have to wonder. The fact you're questioning why she's in the freezer is beyond comprehension.

Just so I understand and don’t get unnecessarily excited, does this bit of information relate to today or the EFL window inclusive?

Re: BFC TRANSFER NEWS SUMMER 2020(MUST CONTAIN LINK)
I would second that-as you say his recruitment was fantastic. If we are skint now we were in a far worse state then. I remember him saying he preferred an extra masseur than a player, as he could that way get the thread bare team fit for the next game. Not only did he have an eye for talent-he took Gary Cahill from under the nose of David O Leary at Villa (then playing in Villa Reserves). He got us Wayne Elliott, Steven Caldwell, Andy Gray, John Harley, John McGreal, Frank Sinclair, Danny Coyne, Andy Gray, David Unsworth, Clarke Carlisle, Stephen Jordan,Alan Mahon and many more all of whom generally did a great job for us. I remember him flying to Florida to convince Wayne Thomas who was on hols to sign for us. He got Akinbiye to sign for us despite him having agreed to join Sheffield Utd. He got Robbie Blake to sign from Leeds. Then got Akinbiyi for a second time too after we had made money on him. He did all this with no recruitment team. Are we seriously stronger today with this Recruitment/Analytical Monster
He was far from being our best manager-the football was dull, but wow he had an eye for a player and did not faff about getting them without major funds. Its being savvy, reactive and smart that made him successful with new players

Give it up. We are not making another signing for the first team squad with Garlick as Chairman. I’d hazard a guess he hasn’t even spoke to Dyche today... Its quite clear he doesn’t want anything to do with this transfer window.

Re: BFC TRANSFER NEWS SUMMER 2020(MUST CONTAIN LINK)
And who let that happen. Don't forget we made good money on Blake going to Birmingham, Chaplow to WBA, we fleeced Saints for Wayne Thomas, we fleeced Charlton for Andy Gray, we made money on Akinbiyi, and even got a fee for Wade Elliott. Suspect we made further profit on the transfers of other players during his era
My point was the ease at which we could get players when we were REALLY skint

Confirmation that there will be no business from Burnley before tonight's deadline.
Will Norris and Dale Stephens the two incomings so far in this window.
Now we wait for the October 16 deadline to see if any more come through the door.

Boden stood down. Absolutely dreadful transfer window.

Have to say this has been one of the more enjoyable deadline days. Never at any point was there any hope to be snatched away.

@bodenknights
It’s a sorry state of affairs. But for those unaware, from 11-01 tonight, there is a domestic extension which means PL clubs can deal with EFL over permanent and loan deals until 5pm on October 16th. So there’s another deadline day to come effectively

And we have almost the entire evening to devote to other things - back to Christmas shopping for me
.... and I've even bought double wall packaging boxes to post everything out with insurance if an " in person " Christmas is cancelled this year - that is forward planning.
Re: BFC TRANSFER NEWS SUMMER 2020(MUST CONTAIN LINK)
Disgusting. No other word to describe it. Every single transfer is a joke, but this 1 just takes the ****. The sooner Garlick sells up and ***** off the better.

This really doesn't surprise me anymore. We have had poor windows for the past few years but posters rushed to defend the club. The difference is this time that this is indefensible. It's so bad it's embarrassing.
