It’s a false economy too.
Even if we increased our average attendance by 2 or 3 thousand to get full capacity every week....and like you say these fans even existed....reduce the average prices by £50 a year to say £300.
That’s an extra £900k a year in come (3,000 x £300)
Less £850k in reduced income from 17,000 existing season ticket holders.
So best case scenario that we fill ground every week that’s £50k net gain - one week wage for one of our players !
And you would still never fill the ground for some games.
I accept completely that the any new owner will find new commercial opportunities for the club and these have nowhere near been maximised under the current stewardship....but I don’t really see much opportunity in our match day revenues....other than sorting our catering out to some kind of basic level of standard that fans are able to get a drink or two without missing 10 minutes of the first half !!
