Re: Today’s footie 6/12
Disappointing equaliser for Sheff Utd, but bags of goals already so surely deserves better than a 6/12.

Got a feeling the Blades are gonna nick this.

Defender should have fouled him and took the red card so close to the end

I said the same. At that stage of the game and with Vardy through on goal it had to be worth the red card and (2 game?) ban.Devils_Advocate wrote: ↑Sun Dec 06, 2020 4:04 pmDefender should have fouled him and took the red card so close to the end

Re: Today’s footie 6/12/2020
This weekend just got even better, if Leicester see this out we'll have been the only team in the bottom 4 to have picked up anything in this round of games.

I can’t see Chris wilder lasting long, might not survive till next game

Re: Today’s footie 6/12/2020
Yeah the defender has to take the red card there. 3 match ban but get your team what could be a vital point.

Sheff U lose their keeper back to Man U... dropping like a hotpot.

North London derby next. Spurs surely heavy favourites, but they say form goes out of the window in derbies.
Kane fit to start after his apparent injury, and Aubameyang returns for the Gunners. Bale on the bench.

Re: Today’s footie 6/12/2020
He's spent big on Brewster among others, and as yet it doesn't look a good investment. You do have to wonder how long the owners will give him, they are in real danger of being cast adrift even this early, and that's 12 games without a win now.

Thought I was watching a rerun of the many Son goals with Kane assist scored by Spurs this season.
Gets ball on left wing, cuts inside, opens up body caresses ball into far corner.

If Son carries on in this vein he'll be a strong contender for player of the season, his form has been stunning, and his partnership with Kane is probably the best in the league.

Celtic game finished 1-1 that must be the final nail in Lennon's coffin, Rangers are streaking clear at the top of the table.

Son is brilliant player and has been for some time but as you say so far this season he has been outstanding

Aubameyang scored 22 goals for Arsenal last season and Arteta has managed to transform him into a player that carries no goal threat whatsoever. Unless it's from the penalty spot.

Don't tempt fate remember who we're visiting next Sunday. I have noticed Aubameyang has barely kicked a ball since signing his shiny new contract however.kentonclaret wrote: ↑Sun Dec 06, 2020 5:01 pmAubameyang scored 22 goals for Arsenal last season and Arteta has managed to transform him into a player that carries no goal threat whatsoever. Or he’s signed his lucrative contract so his performance levels have dropped. I don’t think tactically his place in the team is radically different.kentonclaret wrote: ↑Sun Dec 06, 2020 5:01 pmAubameyang scored 22 goals for Arsenal last season and Arteta has managed to transform him into a player that carries no goal threat whatsoever. Re: Today’s footie 6/12/2020
Arteta has transformed Arsenal into also-rans,
13 points from the first 11 matches must be one of their worst starts for decades.
And Arsenal fans cheered when Wenger was forced out.
Be careful what you wish for.
And yes, I know we are playing them next week

Arteta is a Sky media darling so avoids any scathing criticism of him or his tactics.

Can't see Partey playing next week, whether that helps us or not time will tell, Arsenal are beatable but we have to believe in ourselves.

If you look at the table, after over 1/4 of the season it’s shaping up to be a right title race. I’d quite like to see Spurs win it tbh.

For the neutral it's brilliant, and for the good of the PL, a tight title race with several contenders is too be welcomed.Winstonswhite wrote: ↑Sun Dec 06, 2020 5:47 pmIf you look at the table, after 1/3 of the season it’s shaping up to be a right title race. I’d quite like to see Spurs win it tbh.
Last season was boring as the title was decided by now, and the season before was an epic struggle between City & Liverpool, but they were both miles ahead of the rest.
I can't remember the last genuine title race involving more than a couple of teams, but you'll probably have to go back a couple of decades I'd wager

Comfortable win for Spurs, back on top and unless Liverpool score a hatful they'll stay there, whatever Jose might say the pony is definitely in the race.

Pundits on Sky suggesting Spurs fans are asking the question "How is this happening"?
Similar question being asked by Arsenal fans I would hope?
