Jack Grealish
Absolute talent but also absolute idiot. Expect him to be in the papers again over the next few days if papers are allowed to print the pics of him doing the rounds. Why do these guys think in todays world they can get away with stuff

Any chance he could be ruled out of next week’s match? I’d welcome that, because he’s an outstanding talent.

So if they eat together at work, are they sharing the bird in the pic doing the rounds?FactualFrank wrote: ↑Thu Dec 10, 2020 7:17 pm"Villa manager Dean Smith has confirmed that neither player will face disciplinary action given the strange scenario that allows them to eat together at the club’s Bodymoor Heath training ground but not outside of it under tier 2 restrictions."

All that money and he ends up in a picture with a Didier Drogba lookalike.

If it's the one I've now just seen on social media... rather him than me!

He will be judged by some people who find his behaviour embarrassing and tacky but he'll be admired by many others for his "laddishness".
To coin a phrase, "Oh, Jack, where did it all go wrong ?"

On the subject of Grealish - he's just received a 9 month driving ban and a fine of £82,499.

Re: Jack Grealish
Ha ha - probably both, but seriously, the first of two offences was when he broke the rules to go to a party, had one or two too many and then got in his car and smashed other cars up when he reversed into them. He and Villa thought it was all fine because he then apologised.

Bet he's sorry nowClaretTony wrote: ↑Tue Dec 15, 2020 11:20 amHa ha - He and Villa thought it was all fine because he then apologised.
Re: Jack Grealish
The fine is just pin money to him, and 9 months isn’t that long. He’ll soon be back behind the wheel, thinking the law doesn’t apply to him!
Re: Jack Grealish
The decent thing for Villa to do now is give him an immediate one match ban!ClaretTony wrote: ↑Tue Dec 15, 2020 11:12 amOn the subject of Grealish - he's just received a 9 month driving ban and a fine of £82,499.

Deserves all he gets.
But i did laugh at the stunt he pulled to fool the press. His blacked out window vehicle arrived outside court and all the waiting photographers pounced on it, while he walked in from the side with a bodyguard.

Re: Jack Grealish
So, by the tone of this post, you condone a PL footballer who, for many youngsters, will be role model, breaking covid rules, getting hammered and crashing his car into others. Who know what untold other bad things he may have done had ne not crashed at this point....but it's ok cause he is living the dream and we all do stupid stuff from time to time....sorry but I would not ever, have ever done anything like this.....
Re: Jack Grealish
If anyone is any doubt what an absolute idiot Grealish is have a watch of the video - clearly not a one off either.
He’s clearly a very good footballer - but rarely in football has anyone with talent like his not crashed and burned on the pitch eventually if their life off the pitch is a mess.

Re: Jack Grealish
I don’t understand how he’s managed to do that in his car. Either he can’t drive or he was absolutely off his face, paralytic.
Re: Jack Grealish
I don’t condone it, but I understand it. Birmingham Mail reporting that the court was told he TAKES HOME around £55k per week after all deductions, including pension payments, tax and NI.
Must be almost impossible to keep you feet on the ground (see what I'm doing there?) when you earn that as a single bloke.

Re: Jack Grealish
There's no way Villa will drop him he's too important to them, however I do wonder how long he can remain their skipper for, he's hardly setting a model example for the rest of their squad is he, and surely DS has to draw the line somewhere, it's not as if he's learning his lessons, as he keeps repeating these daft misdemeanours.

Remember George Best once thought Man United could never get tired of his antics. Good as Grealish is he’s no George Best.tiger76 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 15, 2020 9:07 pmThere's no way Villa will drop him he's too important to them, however I do wonder how long he can remain their skipper for, he's hardly setting a model example for the rest of their squad is he, and surely DS has to draw the line somewhere, it's not as if he's learning his lessons, as he keeps repeating these daft misdemeanours.

Re: Jack Grealish
No that's true, and anyone can make a mistake, the problem with Jack is the penny doesn't seem to have dropped yet that you can't keep repeating your mistakes, he went online and apologised for the first transgression, and yet he's made at least 2 further breaches since then, this shows to me that his words are meaningless, and Grealish is now 25 the captain of a PL club, and supposedly pushing for a place in the England squad, he's not a wet behind the ears kid, he's an experienced pro who should know better by now.elwaclaret wrote: ↑Tue Dec 15, 2020 9:16 pmRemember George Best once thought Man United could never get tired of his antics. And if he carries on down this self destructive road it will eventually impact on his career, and he'll end up being the next Danny Drinkwater.
There's also hallmarks of Gazza in his behaviour, yes he's got talent, but you need to put the work in to succeed, look at Messi and Ronaldo for the ultimate examples of what it takes.

Re: Jack Grealish
Villa won't do anything unless his lifestyle starts affecting his performance on the field. He's done pretty well so far.
Re: Jack Grealish
When you see what Ronaldo has done in Madeira the Hospital etc...
Messi does back home in Argentina
What the likes of Didier Drogba does back home building Schools etc in Cote D'Ivoire ...
Puts into perspective just what a unpleasant pretentious git Grealish is ...
Yes a very gifted Footballer but the brains of a Woodlouse

Re: Jack Grealish
I would look like Messi if everyone failed to tackle me.
The way we rolled over last season at home to Villa was a disgrace
Grealish is a bigger diver than Wilf, but tricky.
He just needs getting stuck into City style on the half way line. Villa have some decent players and an Achilles in their poor defence.A game for Mat Mat Vydra to start .

Re: Jack Grealish
Just be fined £80,000 and given a nine months driving ban for two motoring offences by crashing into stationary cars. Grealish had already points on his licence for a speeding offence. Seems to be a bit of an idiot.
