A Leeds fan on Twitter has just tweeted how he's 'buzzing', that McNeil isn't playing.

No idea where he got it from, but assume there's been something leaked or seen.

As has been pointed out in the " Sunday Times " today, the side who's scored the ( joint ) least Premier League goals with 8, travel to the side that has conceded the most, 30. Despite our relatively low standing, only 4 sides have conceded less than Burnley ( Man City, Aston Villa, Chelsea & Spurs ) ...

I put a bet on before yesterday to soften the blow - if we do get beat, I'll win just over £150.

After good runs, we usually lose, with a poor performances against teams like Leeds and Sheff Utd, so I'm really worried about these next two games.

Hope I'm wrong.

We need a win, so I hope we carry on the way we did against Wolves. If we do, I'll go for 1 - 3 Burnley.

From Twitter...

In place at Elland Road, few Burnley players have been out for a look at the pitch. Seen U23s Mace Goodridge and Anthony Gomez Mancini, Not seen sight of Dwight McNeil or Robbie Brady as yet but teams in 10 mins or so #twitterclarets #utc

So looking like both are out.

I don’t think so, Jack Duckworth will have had his spies on us and thinking we’ll be having Brady and McNeil in the team... it will surprise him with what we go with...

Was hoping Brady would make it as we’d at least have a natural left winger and Brownhill on the right . It’s looking like we’re back to the reserve left back as a right mid, makes us hellishly weak but we’ve done it before is gonna need some real grit and resolve

Biography

Gomez Mancini joined the Clarets in September 2020.

The midfielder started his career at Lyon before joining Angers two years ago, initially in the Under-19s before graduating to the full squad.

The French U19 international made his first appearance for Steve Stone's side against Crystal Palace in October.

McNeill is a massive miss...spends a lot of time in possession and our main ball carrier. Such a shame he misses this game particularly. Unbelievable clash in styles today and I’m hoping we can somehow grind out a result.
