Sir Alex Ferguson on VAR
Interview with him in the Mail. He said: "It’s a bloody disaster. I watched the Leeds versus Burnley game the other week - Burnley had a goal disallowed when their own player was fouled by the goalkeeper. Unbelievable."

Re: Sir Alex Ferguson on VAR
I was trying to imagine if he was still managing and VAR turned a decision against him

Re: Sir Alex Ferguson on VAR
there's so much knowledge and experience to be gained from ex managers and players and yet seemingly it's left to Mike Riley (who was always crap) to figure it out

He wouldn’t have reacted well if Giggs was given offside when Viera gave him the ballClaretTony wrote: ↑Tue Jan 05, 2021 5:16 pmI was trying to imagine if he was still managing and VAR turned a decision against him

Mike Riley is from Leeds.
I once saw him singing along with 'Marching all Together' before kick off.

United have had twice as many penalties awarded as Liverpool in the league since the start of 2019 season up to now.Wellsy1882 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 05, 2021 8:48 pmAnd bog eyed klopps been kickin off too

What I posted was factually correct too.Wellsy1882 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 05, 2021 10:57 pmWhat ive posted is factually correct and followed on from the original post
Nice of you to pop by though HMV47
Your statistic was completely irrelevant to a subject which is about penalties being awarded whilst VAR has been in operation.

Re: Sir Alex Ferguson on VAR
I think we all agree that SIr Alex was correct. What annoyed me was that Michael Oliver whom ive aways felt to be a fair and reasonable referee didn't correct Jones, unfortunately a case of sticking with the boys. Needless to say my estimation of him has reduced considerably.
