Totally fed up with treating domestic cups like friendlies. Cannot continue under new ownership.
Pathetic performance.

Re: Clarets v MKD Match thread
Not suggesting we ‘throw’ cup games, but there is too much of a coincidental style to these games over the last few years for it to not be an ingrained culture of not caring if we do actually win.
It’s rubbish as a fan, but as sad as it is I only care on the day and then forget about it till the next season (when I get annoyed all over again against whoever). It really is rubbish.

I don't understand how we can't play like we did in the first 30 mins. We always resort to long balls when we're chasing a game.

Look at our history, we get bundled out of cups every season, and yet come the next PL game we have a different mentality,box_of_frogs wrote: ↑Sat Jan 09, 2021 4:45 pmExcellent. What kind of guarantee can you provide? Financial?
Why this is the case IDK, ask SD and the coaches, but he's never taken any of the cups seriously in his time here, so why people expect him to do so now baffles me.

I'd like to say that it isn't as bad as when we lost to Wimbledon in '75 but the feeling is just the same.
Just not good enough !

The fact I am more surprised when we win a cup game than I am when we turn out a performance like we have today says it all!tiger76 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 09, 2021 4:51 pmLook at our history, we get bundled out of cups every season, and yet come the next PL game we have a different mentality,

Re: Clarets v MKD Match thread
It peeves me off for a day or two, but then I move on and it's quickly forgotten, I should have learnt by now to expect disappointment in the cups, then it wouldn't sting so much.jedi_master wrote: ↑Sat Jan 09, 2021 4:50 pmNot suggesting we ‘throw’ cup games, but there is too much of a coincidental style to these games over the last few years for it to not be an ingrained culture of not caring if we do actually win.

Re: Clarets v MKD Match thread
Is anyone surprised at this stage of Dyche's reign regarding our approach to cup games?
They are just a sideshow for him. Can't say I'm too bothered either
