I was looking forward to seeing this guy, another fantastic footballer.
What a disappointment
What a moaning prick
I'm glad we have Chris Wood

I'm not Wood's biggest fan or advocate right now, but I'd actually prefer him up front for us rather than Cavani. He looked absolute garbage on last night's showing.

Me Neither DC but he will score another 10/11 goals this season which will ultimately keep us in this division...we need to be patient with him,Cavani was actually worse than Wood last nightDark Cloud wrote: βWed Jan 13, 2021 11:39 amI'm not Wood's biggest fan or advocate right now, but I'd actually prefer him up front for us rather than Cavani. Re: Cavani
I sent a text to my German friend stating that Cavani was an A*******h !
He said I had summed him up perfectly !!
Cavani seemed to have a taste for the Turf Moor grass - it must be scented !!

How am I reading that some fans would prefer Chris Wood ahead of Cavani? Incredible. Next it'll be Charlie Taylor ahead of Alfonso Davies.

I'm being realistic.. something one or two on here should really think about doing,we dont shop in the Β£100,000 a week store,I never said at any point did I prefer Wood to Cavani,I was merely hinting I wouldn't want that moaning prick within a million miles of our club.corporal jones wrote: βWed Jan 13, 2021 12:24 pmhow can anyone say they would have chris wood before cavani!

Re: Cavani
You said I am glad we have Chris Wood. To many that reads that you would rather have Chris Wood other than Cavani. You explained your point further up - fine. My post was hypothetical and I wouldnβt turn down Cavanis ability signing prick or not itβs not a question of him being a realistic signing or not is it? As fo Chris Woods goals, I would argue that with a more productive striker in the squad who actually contributes to the all round game would see us creating far more chances and as such mean us getting more goals overall.

Who's goals have kept us in this division for the last three seasons i asked, are you so much of a Wood detractor that you can't give him credit for that?gandhisflipflop wrote: βWed Jan 13, 2021 1:13 pmYou said I am glad we have Chris Wood. Re: Cavani
What does that have to do with this thread?
Your quote "I was merely hinting I wouldn't want that moaning prick within a million miles of our club" prompted my response. It was blindingly obvious that my point was hypothetical. Wood has scored goals that has helped keep us in the division, so what?

Re: Cavani
Moaning at the referee for the entire game, must have been frustrating for him to be in Tarkowski's pocket all nightBurnley Ace wrote: βWed Jan 13, 2021 3:24 pmAt what? Throwing his arm in the air and pretending he was hurt?
Re: Cavani
I personally expected so much more from a player hailed as one of the saviours on United's current season, he was constantly moaning about being tackled whilst he himself put the boot in on a few occasions.
I think in summary - dont believe the hype

Re: Cavani
My United supporting mates agreed very early on in the game that he was rattled and was struggling to cope with the attention from Mee and Tarks

Re: Cavani
always good to see different opinions.
I thought he held the ball well when he received it
I thought he did well pulling defenders away with his movement
Very Barnes like with annoying the opposition and questioning things

Jesus and Cavani are better than anything we have. If we had someone like that then theyβd be gone pretty sharpish. Unfortunately.
