Tom Anderson - new Donny captain

Post by ClaretTony » Fri Jan 15, 2021 10:47 am

Another Burnley fan who came through the youth system at Burnley - doing really well at Doncaster now and has today been appointed as their new club captain.

I suspect he also enjoyed their cup win last week.

Didn't he also do well on loan at Chesterfield about 2/3 years ago?

He did, one of a few loans he had. He’s done well at Donny too.

Haslingden lad? Who Tom? He was brought up from a very young age in Ightenhill, just off Cumbrian Way. That makes him a Burnley lad in my book.

I remember him getting pelters in a pre-season friendly at Accy in 2015 when we lost 4-2 (we were 3-0 down in the 1st half ... poor lad had an absolute mare....) glad to see he has got himself sorted.
