Seems to me that the bar for overturning a referee’s decision has increased in height as the season’s gone on. Frustrating to see such inconsistencies.

Wellsy called it right again.
Re: Today's Footy
West Brom won't survive. It's obvious they will need to score 2-3 goals per game to get a result as their defence isn't capable of keeping a clean sheet.
43 goals conceded so far.

Re: Today's Footy
Gallagher moved his leg, possibly to get out of the way. But the fact he moved could have been enough to factor into the keepers actions. Offside for me.
As it happens it didn’t alter the result.

Re: Today's Footy
they just make it up from game to game, blatant foul so for me that is a clear and obvious error, amazed VAR didn't ask the ref to look at the monitor, it's ruining the game because of the inconsistencies.

Re: Today's Footy
Cheers Hammers a useful favour for us, and a reminder that West Brom still have an uphill task to survive, 11 points at the halfway stage of their season isn't a great return, and they'll probably need to win another 7/8 games in the 2nd half of the season, not impossible by any means, but they've only won twice in their first 19 games, so BFS has his work cut out keeping them up on the evidence thus far.

Re: Today's Footy
Poor defending from Chelsea again, until Frank sorts that area out they aren't going to challenge for titles, as for Leicester victory here will send them top for at least 24 hours, they have to be considered as contenders to lift the title again, once would be mad, twice in the space of 5 years would be absolutely bonkers, but it's definitely a possibility.

how does that second Leicester goal stand ? Vardy looked about 8 yards offside from the goal kick that he challenges Rudiger for

Re: Today's Footy
Hope Chelsea defend like this when we visit the Bridge, we might have half a chance then.
Lampard is looking out of his depth at this level, and he can't organise a defence for toffee, compare to Brendan Rodgers who's got Leicester sorted at both ends of the pitch, Leicester have been efficient and clinical again, and this year they might not fall away as easily as they did last season, of course injuries will be crucial in that respect.

Commentators now saying that it is a hard job for Lampard because he has so much talent to pick from and sometimes it's easier when you have limited choices. Next thing will be that Sean has a much easier job than Lampard.

WRT Kettering vs Leamington .... And apparently at half time all the lights in the ground have gone off with a suspect main fuse possibly blown, ground is in darkness whilst they wait for an electrician

Apparently what West Brom & West Ham did with regards to Snodgrass is against the rules:ksrclaret wrote: ↑Tue Jan 19, 2021 5:38 pmApparently Robert Snodgrass is unable to feature for West Brom tonight due an agreement that prevented him playing against West Ham this season when he left them, even though he's gone permanently. Quite odd I thought.
Conor Gallagher is a decent enough player to come in for him though.

Comfortable 2-0 win for Leicester, and they are back on the summit, can they stay there, you'd think not, but the way this season has gone who knows.

Fleetwood have now lost both matches since Barton was sacked, 3 -1 tonight at MK Dons.
The Chairman said he wanted the club to go in "a different direction"' and he it looks like he has been true to his word.
