Not a good pic but this stunned me last night. It had rained just about all day and then about half an hour before this pic was taken it started to snow.

How moody is that? Great pic.

A few in the winter sun from the River Dodder, in Dublin

I wish I knew how to post photos on here. I could show you Chiang Rai basking in 22 degree sunshine.

    Thankyou

Yesterday I was out with a Canon 1DX Mk II and a 300mm f2.8 prime lens, sometimes with a 2X extender on. First time of picking the camera up really for a month, and today my arms and shoulders know it.

To reduce size of photo to < 2mb

If you use an iPhone for taking photos you can attach the photo to an email and send it to yourself. The iPhone software automatically asks if you want to reduce the size of the photo.

Ah it's not too bad 2.4 kg - but It was hand held for about 5 hours and took it's toll eventually. Adding the extender changes the whole feel of it, and I think it changes the fulcrum, so it feels a lot heavier to hold.

Thanks but dogs have 4 toes and these seem to have 5. Also, they came across the canal from a non-accessible stretch.

Fairly sure that it's not badger and was thinking mink or Otter (but never seen any otters on the canal).

one local picture as the ant hill is getting huge but not seeing ants due to the cold, almost certainly fire ants and when first moved to Houston was bitten on my thumb in the garden and my hand was swollen to nearly double size and had to go for shots, since then I have had more bites and nowhere near as bad but still really feel it for days.

The other picture not mine but thought I would include as I thought it really amazing.

Sunday's walk, not a cloud but cool, not cold.

Park was full and especially the dog park where those guys have no idea about any problems we humans might be experiencing. The dog park in the park is split into three main areas, big dogs, small dogs and the pool, which even includes the showers for the dogs before going home, it's a dogs life, isn't it.

love those picture Boss, picture postcard stuff, I do like looking at snow scenes but glad I don't live with it, some of our vacations have been in and around snow, skiing etc. and really enjoyed but was always glad to get home. Obviously not having to shovel snow from the drive or deice the car and worrying about icy roads while on holiday made it super, living with it a different thing.
