Re: Fulham v Burnley - Player Ratings
It was heartwarming and encouraging to see such good performances from players who've had to sit out a lot of football between them. True professionals and they've been a credit to themselves and the club.

Some good little cameos from the youngsters too. A good day all round.

Re: Fulham v Burnley - Player Ratings
There is a reason we managed to score three goals today. Our tempo of passing through midfield was the best it has been all season today.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Sun Jan 24, 2021 5:20 pmHave to comment on that, I thought he was a real influence today.
They have both put pressure on Westwood and Brownhill.

Re: Fulham v Burnley - Player Ratings
I've probably over-marked Bardsley with a 9 but I love his full blooded style of play. I know the day when he leaves us is coming, and it will probably be right, but what an unexpectedly (for me at least) brilliant servant he's been. I am just sad that I won't be there to see him geeing up the JHL at KO for one last time.

Re: Fulham v Burnley - Player Ratings
BPF 8 Not much to do but very good reflex saves when called upon.
Bardsley 8 Reminded me of Brian O'Neil when he slid into tackles and came up covered in mud
Tarks 8
Long 8
Pieters 7
JBG 6 Needs game time as lacking confidence.
Cork 7
Stephens 7
McNeil 7
Vydra 6 Would have been a 7 possibly 8 if he's have pulled the trigger when clean through.

Re: Fulham v Burnley - Player Ratings
Jay Rodriguez fabulous timing and influence 9
James Tarkowski was my MOM he was absolutely awesome
and I give him 10. Totally at ease, dominated play. He even dribbled past two defenders in the Fulham penalty area at one point.
The rest all played well, with a mention for Dale Stephens who was really composed, and improving.
The rest all get 7.5 / 10.

A comfortable afternoon in the end and a very professional performance on a sticky pitch which was cutting up. Hopefully this performance gives Sean something to think about ahead of the next clutch of games. Appreciate that Fulham were resting some of their players, but am very hopeful we can pick up points against them (home and away) in the Prem.

I do think when fully fit Rodriguez is our best striker, hold-up play, technical skill, movement, balance and aerial presence. Not sure that Wood, for example, would have converted that Cork cross with his head on current form. Hope he gets more minutes in the near future.
