Sky sports transfer program
Says Burnleys main target this window is a central defender.
Surely that's the last position we need to strengthen this window.

Re: Sky sports transfer program
If Ben Mee goes to Celtic we will definitely need a central defender, especially with Tarks likely to go in summer if not sooner.

Re: Sky sports transfer program
Exactly. We have 4 players who can currently play there. A right winger however is a must imo as that's the one position we have struggled for a while especially considering JBG is injury prone

Re: Sky sports transfer program
I think they make it up as they go along this transfer window is dead in the water along with Jim White's yellow tie.

Re: Sky sports transfer program
I should think a CB is up there, certainly. Tarkowski is likely to go in the summer, Long will surely be released this time, Dunne too, and Ben Gibson will be off permanently.

Re: Sky sports transfer program
CB is most certainly the position we should be looking at this window, with the more than likely departure of Tarkowski this summer.
Long as been a brilliant servant with Dunne not quite good enough, what we need is a young Tarkowski or Keane who can be worked on by our Coaching staff to hit the ground running come next season

Re: Sky sports transfer program
Its common knowledge that Tarks is interested in moving on to a bigger club and with only 18 months left on his contract then we will definitely cash in this summer and maybe this window if we get an offer we cant refuse

Re: Sky sports transfer program
Celtic can't even dream of paying Ben what he is on with us and why would he want to drop 2 levels?
BTW morning papers linking us with Joe Worrall again. Living in Kettering does SD pop up the M1 now and again to see his first club?

Re: Sky sports transfer program
Is this the programme where two of them go through all the clubs with one snippet of info (and I'm not sure info is the word I should be using). They often can't find anything but given we were linked with both Worrall and the lad from Stoke over the weekend it was probably safe and easy for them to suggest a central defender was the main target.

Sean Dyche was born in Kettering but he actually lives in Northamptonhuw.Y.WattfromWare wrote: ↑Mon Jan 25, 2021 9:10 pmCeltic can't even dream of paying Ben what he is on with us and why would he want to drop 2 levels?

Re Burnley and Sky Sports...does anyone believe a transfer scoop supplied by an unknown (c)rap singer or DJ?
