What's the deal with the pitch? Seems like everyone has been slipping the last 5 minutes...

Re: Do we need a change
Possibly, but I think the real reason so called supporters aren't putting names forward, is because they haven't a bloody clue!Devils_Advocate wrote: ↑Sun Feb 28, 2021 3:40 pmThere are plenty of very good reasons to put forward why it would be madness to suggest replacing Dyche but supporters not being able to suggest an obvious replacement isn't one of them
I can't remember Dyche being on anybody's radar when Howe left but that didn't mean he wasn't out there and that the people paid to find Howe's replacement couldn't identify him and bring him to the club.

Well played JRod.
Re: Tottenham versus MIGHTY CLARETS
I know we are giving Richardson is debut but why when we are 4-0 down does he only get 2 or 3 mins

Re: Tottenham versus MIGHTY CLARETS
I thought it was actually great that Pep finally told the simple truthCaptJohn wrote: ↑Sun Feb 28, 2021 3:34 pmWe're getting what we deserve, thoroughly trounced by a much better team. I thought Pep Gladioli summed it up perfectly the other day when asked why City were doing so well. His answer was very simple, "We have lots of money and buy the best players!" Simples. We certainly don't have the cash or squad of Spurs and it shows. Nothing too difficult to understand really.
Re: Tottenham versus MIGHTY CLARETS
He could have been on from the start as part of a midfield five to try and control some part of the game
But hey ho - somethings (or formations) never change

Anybody calling for a change of manager knows sweet fanny adams about football. Dyche is the only reason we are in the PL and he is the only man to keep us there.

Re: Do we need a change
Criticism is one thing, but the way some posters throw their toys out of the pram when we lose is laughable, we're losing to Spurs for goodness sake, who possess genuine world-class players, who also unfortunately for us have regained their form at precisely the worst possible time for us, Bale for example has been awesome today, and he's showing exactly what he can bring to the party, but for 600k a week this is what you would expect him to offer.KefkaClaret wrote: ↑Sun Feb 28, 2021 3:39 pmHow can anyone criticise Dyche with how little he has spent?
Re: Tottenham versus MIGHTY CLARETS
Again seconds after our head in their pen, Lamela in but for a poor first touch.
Re: Tottenham versus MIGHTY CLARETS
...of course.....
Re: Tottenham versus MIGHTY CLARETS
Richardson wins another corner.
Re: Tottenham versus MIGHTY CLARETS
Mourinho knows we have no pace, and the direct style around the back of us works a treat
Re: Tottenham versus MIGHTY CLARETS
Another corner.
Re: Tottenham versus MIGHTY CLARETS
Westwood to take
Re: Tottenham versus MIGHTY CLARETS
Lloris takes and they have 4 in on goal!
Incredible.
Gk us.

How did Kane miss that?
Lucky us

Re: Tottenham versus MIGHTY CLARETS
Can I ask why it’s not a penalty when Lloris clearly pushes Stephen’s in the box?

Ok then....I'm putting forward Neil Lennon, with Billy Davies as no.2.fidelcastro wrote: ↑Sun Feb 28, 2021 3:46 pmPossibly, but I think the real reason so called supporters aren't putting names forward, is because they haven't a bloody clue!
Re: Do we need a change
So what was the excuse when we lost to Bournemouth? Or when we had an absolute shocker against a 10 man relegation rival? Some people just defend the indefensible.tiger76 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 28, 2021 3:47 pmCriticism is one thing, but the way some posters throw their toys out of the pram when we lose is laughable, we're losing to Spurs for goodness sake, who possess genuine world-class players, who also unfortunately for us have regained their form at precisely the worst possible time for us, Bale for example has been awesome today, and he's showing exactly what he can bring to the party, but for 600k a week this is what you would expect him to offer.

Re: Tottenham versus MIGHTY CLARETS
I don't think we should bother going into the opponent's half. We always look vulnerable when we attack.

He really has done an excellent job if you think he is the only man who can keep us in the Prem.huw.Y.WattfromWare wrote: ↑Sun Feb 28, 2021 3:47 pmAnybody calling for a change of manager knows sweet fanny adams about football. Re: Tottenham versus MIGHTY CLARETS
Papabendi spot on . We have no pace and Spurs do in spades. Dyche is tactically stubborn. However I think the lads in second half never stopped trying.

Re: Tottenham versus MIGHTY CLARETS
Progress at last: 5-0 last season, 4-0 this season.
Re: Tottenham versus MIGHTY CLARETS
All over.
I thought we looked ok apart from being unable to cope st all with their pace. Not many could have coped today.
Tarkowski fatal and near fatal errors.

These games don't even make me mad anymore, they just wear me down.
Can't even be arsed to have any passion these days.
