Sky coverage tonight - Replays

Post by gandhisflipflop » Wed Mar 03, 2021 7:54 pm

Was anyone else not getting incredibly frustrating with the constant overplaying of the replays during the game while the game was still going on? I found it infuriating at times wondering what was going on on the pitch while watching a replay for the 500th time.

I enjoyed staring at their sub for a minute whilst we were on the attack

Hugely frustrating. Close ups of the manager, and then mega zoomed in when you can’t tell what’s happening on the pitch. Terrible camerawork and direction.

Always seems to be a director in the early game. Noticed that before.

It is even more infuriating watching “Sky Derby County”
It shows Rooney in dug out as much as the play on the pitch—-Well nearly as much

Every time Pope gets a goal kick the action restarts with the other team in possession of the ball.

My IPTV froze throughout in the first half tonight. Got right on my t1ts, thankfully the second half were much improved. ⚽

I think because there are so many matches being covered the quality of match control by the director on the camera angles is decreased.. ie not enough quality Directors 🙂

Camerman really fancied Rodgers.
Always on him.

I actually had time to count his nasal hair.

At least Smithy was watching them almost score while he was talking about upcoming fixtures. Would've looked stupid if they'd scored

It’s not just this game. Seems to be happening more and more. Really frustrating, especially given we can’t go.

If the ball is in play - show the game!!

I'm also not interested in watching other teams's players arriving at the ground for the main event to follow us. I know we're very much anybody's undercard but just concentrate on showing the effing game to the people who are interested in it.

Very Leicester biaised coverage tonight. Constantly rabbiting on about Barnes and Maddisson being out. Hardly mentioned our threadbare squad at the best of times.

Bad directing on the feed. Commentary was good to me but I'm sure we had different commentators to Sky.

I enjoyed listening to the commentary in Dutch. Very soothing, and I didn’t have to endure any uninsightful analysis from the co-commentators.

Also, when the ball is in play I wish they'd just stick to the hard cam shot at all times.

Yes it's very fustrating. I'd didn't think it was as bad as some previous games. Not sure which game it was but by the time they were back to the action the ball was at the other end in the penalty area.

I didn’t mind it .... had to watch it at work and it took me 15 seconds to get to the screen so the 3rd/4th replay was the one I caught usually

Even more frustrating when they were switching to the Sheffield United - Villa game with ours relegated to a tiny corner of the screen just to show near misses by Villa and replays of them :( :( :(
