Season Ticket Question
Re: Season Ticket Question
For all those with queries on the Ticketing Wallet section of the App. Info from the club -
Don’t worry about this at the moment as its still under the testing phase, so no need to try to add anything.
Once its launched we will advise more via social and ticketing pages on the website.
It will also be added into the FAQ’s under the SSO section.

Funkydrummer wrote: ↑Thu Apr 15, 2021 11:19 amThanks leisure for all your efforts. I already have the App. I have found the wallet but there are no tickets to be found in there despite having successfully renewed "on account". From the "linked accounts" section it definitely shows that it is linked to my clarets number.
Does anything bloody work down there for crying out loud ? I'm slowly getting to the point of packing it in, getting my money back and going to watch Padiham and/or Stanley. Such is my dismay at the club's lack of ability to runs things properly, accurately and efficiently.
Very much doubt if I'm the only one either.
onewillieirvine wrote: ↑Thu Apr 15, 2021 11:28 amFunky- I seem to have the same scenario regarding the wallet and links. I have an email confirming purchase but that info hasn't as yet appeared as a ticket in my wallet. The renewal was done two weeks ago.
I had same issue.claretandy wrote: ↑Thu Apr 15, 2021 11:47 amSame here, renewed 3 last week, none are showing in the wallet.
In the app, under settings, unlink your TeamCard, then relink it.
Not sure how you show multiple ones though as it only shows my ticket though, despite having 4 others under F&F

Re: Season Ticket Question
They'll need to create their own accounts, link their clarets number and then login on the app in their own account from what I can work out. Maybe there will be extensions added to the app to handle other season tickets, but can't see them currently. I have 4 season tickets linked to my account.
Re: Season Ticket Question
Latest update on this - It’s still in progress at the moment (a meeting impending this week to get an update).Claret Till I Die wrote: ↑Wed Apr 14, 2021 5:41 pmLeisure, please can you ask a question at the next meeting for me...
Does the all singing, all dancing SSO allow you to use your accrued points online or is that still being looked at ?
Once supporters have linked and signed into their SSO that is how it would be used and accessed.
I hope to know more next week.
Re: Season Ticket Question
The club needs to write to season ticket holders now - a letter, outlining the changes they’ve implemented, and not expect people to manage this on their own. The FAQ info on the club website is confusing and bewildering to some fans.
A letter laying out in simple terms what they need to do, how the SSO now works etc with screen illustrations. They need to do this quickly or risk losing fans and income.

So, you want the same info in a letter that's already available on the website. If people find the instructions confusing, I think that's more down to them than the actual instructions, and how would printing them in a letter be beneficialmikeS wrote: ↑Thu Apr 15, 2021 12:33 pmThe club needs to write to season ticket holders now - a letter, outlining the changes they’ve implemented, and not expect people to manage this on their own. Cheers Leisure, not a dig at you at all but this is now 2 overhauls of the system that haven't included it.
Another new launch without it happening despite nearly 12 months to integrate it.... I certainly wouldn't be attending any parties at a brewery they organise...

Not many people would have known to scour the ticket offices latest arrangements on BUrnley FCs website Grumps to be honest. And while they might attract a younger audience they won’t get there message across to all fans.

The more you read this thread the more I think the club should employ him.
He has got more done in a week than most at the club who's actual role this probably is

Hardly on it - been back in America while this farce has been going on and is now in quarantine having returned. I hope he has a long, hard look at what's happened here when he does get back to Burnley. I'm afraid his comments are not doing anywhere near enough to alleviate the problems. I feel sorry for the ticket office staff who are going to have to put up with abuse again when it is not of their own making.

Re: Season Ticket Question
Agree. The season ticket renewal issues are down to technology and media/information issues. Plus the TO staff are going to be at brunt end of complaints if ST prices do increase.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Thu Apr 15, 2021 4:42 pmI feel sorry for the ticket office staff who are going to have to put up with abuse again when it is not of their own making.

Re: Season Ticket Question
Spot on Leisure. The TO staff will be the ones who have to front up but they will inevitably receive abuse they just don't deserve.
Re: Season Ticket Question
Can you pay on the gate?
Re: Season Ticket Question
Perhaps Mr Pace once out of quarantine would like to spend a few days on the front line and assist in the ticket office, he'll then get a good insight into what exactlly the staff have to put up with and see first hand what a mess this is turning out to be.
I know Elaine used to provide an excellent service in the ticket office often in difficult circumstances, if she's still there she's probably considering retiring with all this current fiasco.

Re: Season Ticket Question
Just realised with this phone issue if you cant make a game and normally you lend a friend your card (I know you're strictly speaking not meant to ) how can you do it now, lend the phone or is the ticket barcode able to be emailed ?
Re: Season Ticket Question
In the 'good old days' decisions in the TO were made by Elaine but, unfortunately, now lots of decisions are made by other people at the club.beddie wrote: ↑Thu Apr 15, 2021 5:54 pmPerhaps Mr Pace once out of quarantine would like to spend a few days on the front line and assist in the ticket office, he'll then get a good insight into what exactlly the staff have to put up with and see first hand what a mess this is turning out to be.

I did try to warn people. When I heard it I did think there seems to be a big decision being made by young technology wise people, which does not suit our demographic.

I think the days of using somebody else's ticket might be over for the time being. With the talk of vaccine passports, extra covid checks etc.

The problem isn't the technology as such with this mess.ClaretAL wrote: ↑Thu Apr 15, 2021 6:43 pmI did try to warn people. When I heard it I did think there seems to be a big decision being made by young technology wise people, which does not suit our demographic.

The problem is the communication and the fact that they have disregarded a demographic of fan and shown they don't know who their customers are or what access to technology they have.
Having a system like this is absolutely fine, providing you have multiple channels to renew and you communicate clearly on what the options are and can ensure your message reaches your intended audience.
However to just make a digital solution, to not communicate, offer alternate options was pure rubbish.

Yesterday they announced that the ticket office was re-opening next Monday - today they've updated the season ticket info which confirms the ticket office will remain closed until further notice.

Very true Tony. Over the last few years as the clubs profile has increased communications have been appalling. Ambiguous wording, reissued statements, bad decisions seem to be the norm around every big call the club make. This is the latest in a long line of misinformation.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Thu Apr 15, 2021 10:43 pmCommunication isn't a strong point at Burnley Football Club,

The club did poll the fans, with an online survey. You might want to wonder why a certain demographic got missed out!

Not at all, the only people I've spoken to about them have all been positive, was merely pointing out that they have been back in the USA.
These problems were being created prior to the takeover.

Re: Season Ticket Question
They need to be recruiting someone at the club who has some experience with building an omnichannel sales and marketing function.
However, looking at the salaries they pay, I'm not surprised that they have the problems they do as no doubt they have the people responsible for doing this on 0.5 Twix an hour and a choice of a bene n hot or Boveril for lunch.
Why is it so difficult for us to execute anything in a clear and understandable way?

In the top box, put your clarets number, and in the bottom box put your password. (Using clarets number here will avoid using the wrong email address)
If you don't know your password, complete the forgot password function by clicking the 'forgotten password?' link under the password box. You will then need to access the email linked to your account to reset the password and then go back and log in when you have done this by repeating the above steps.
Once you are logged in, if you are still having issues, let me know.

Great.
However, my partner, for whom I purchased tickets, has disappeared from my F&F, as has my daughter and son in law. No idea what their claret nos were/are as you just order. Is that all lost now???
