A great performance done with a hugh deflection and a clearly offside goal

Re: BPF
Thought he played well and v unlucky with deflection , didn’t put a foot wrong ,he’s an experienced international and another season maybe as an understudy he’ll be high quality

Re: BPF
I think he has done ok over the last couple of games. There are worse keepers in this league. Well done to the lad.

Re: BPF
he's only 24, years of development and improvement to come.
it must be very difficult to stay match-sharp as a 2nd choice GK.
For what it's worth I think he's fine.

Re: BPF
Not in anyway reason to judge him. But he doesn’t look like a professional premier league goalkeeper to me.
All the other players on the pitch on both sides look like physical, professional athletes.
Even McNeil looks older and more physical than him.
Reminds me a bit of ramsdale.
Did make a few good stops though.

Re: BPF
He's shaky and makes mistakes.
Pope slotted right in, this lad looks nervous and a liability.
Great kicking though.

Pope slotted in against Benteke and Palace when we were a much better team.tarkys_ears wrote: ↑Sun Apr 18, 2021 7:33 pmHe's shaky and makes mistakes.

Re: BPF
Frankly i'm astonished that our 2nd string goalkeeper isn't as good as England's No2.

Re: BPF
You aware the team is utter sh1te? Struggling all season and slap bang into a relegation dog fight . He’s not been at fault for any of the goals and played well , I’d still prefer Pope back though

Re: BPF
He looks pretty confident and that is essential. He is developing with BM and has 2 good keepers for healthy competition. I don't think we can fault our Goalkeeping department over the past several years.

I agree with that apart from the comment about us being utter sh*te, as that comment is utter sh*te.AlargeClaret wrote: ↑Sun Apr 18, 2021 8:01 pmYou aware the team is utter sh1te? If posters hadn't noticed, NP hasn't looked so assured this season as he did last.
Look beyond the goalkeepers.

Re: BPF
He came out technically 100% correctly getting a full stance and chest ,stood his ground making zero contact , then Rashford threw himself to the floor after forcing contact .
As for the deflection , you’re either fishing or having a nervous breakdown

Re: BPF
Don’t know how anyone saw him being nervous!!! He looks similar to Pope when he came in. Made a few very good saves and I’m sure he can mature into another excellent keeper. He’s somewhere between Pope and Heaton in terms of style with less height and catching ability than Pope but a slightly more athletic style like heaton. There was a brilliant save against rashford in the first half and a good save on a one on one second half.
