Worth remembering we play in a league which is flawed massively where we are expected to compete with sides who's failure to stay in the league above us, wins them £147m.

4 really good signings this window it has to be said.

We always want more as fans and there is still room for improvement in a couple of positions but this is a very decent window, fingers crossed all the signings are successful ones and we get the best out of them.

Dwight McNeil, 99 Premier League appearances, 7 goals, 16 assists, potential valuation? Surely north of £40,000,000 in the current market?

All down to what a club will pay, keeps playing like he is and he could be worth more than that to us, but we may never see that.

Yes I am and here’s why; I’d rather be in debt and getting investment which keeps us in the Prem, than be debt free dropping down through the divisions. Once the parachute payments are finished then so are we. The longer we don’t heave to rely on them the better.

Plus I would add in there, in terms of goals and assists, James played in a much stronger line up at United than Dwight does at Burnley and has more chances in games in attacking phases to contribute and apart from pace, he lacks in all other departments.

Not like us at all though. Not something we've ever done. That was Palace with Holloway, so many signings, five or six players were left out of the squad.

Barkley you’d think is more likely being a northerner as well.

Barkley could be outstanding if Dyche could get a tune out of him.
