I'm surprised at you calling them poor followings Leisure. You more than anyone should know the costs of being a regular away fan.

Re: Brentford Tickets
Surprised it hasn't made it as far as season ticket holders.
Re: Brentford Tickets
I certainly do know the cost but our followings this year have been the poorest since we've been in the PL (Man Utd and Leeds excepted). So it would not be a surprise for us to take a low allocation for most games. I presume we've done this for Palace and that's why we've sold out.Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Thu Feb 24, 2022 11:16 amI'm surprised at you calling them poor followings Leisure. Re: Brentford Tickets
Is our following so poor? What is the average?
Re: Brentford Tickets
Suppose it depends on peoples definition of 'poor'. It's certainly poorer/less that in previous seasons. No idea what the average is, we don't even get told what allocation we've taken, never mind how many we sold!

Re: Brentford Tickets
The fans that go away are superb. It might be lesser in number than previous years but it's not fair to call it poor. All them who made the effort to go to Brighton last Saturday in the storms deserve medals.
I was talking to my Dad who follows Everton all over who missed Southampton on Saturday. His mates who he goes with had to get a 300 quid taxi from London to Southampton after all the trains were cancelled and then had to get an expensive room for Saturday as they couldn't get back home. About 1500 quid for 4 people to go away. A bad loss to rub it in.

Re: Brentford Tickets
Our away followings have definitely been lower this season. We couldn't sell the reduced allocation at City, we barely took a thousand to Leicester, Chelsea was another low turnout. All Saturday 3 o clock games so can't be blamed on TV.

Re: 2021/22: Brentford v Burnley – Ticket Information
I am not surprised some of the followings this season have been lower.
A lot of people's spare cash has been reduced these last couple of years. Train fares are crazy this season and being only able to book a few weeks in advance has removed any hope of getting a decent price, an example for Brentford knowing our group were travelling down on the Friday we managed to get tickets to Euston for £28. Once the game was confirmed as a Saturday we booked to come back on the Sunday and the return journey was £67 previously it was a max of £60 return and almost always less than that. There are those who have got out the "habit" of going after the last 2 years (a cynic may think some got out the habit due to us struggling) and then there are those who would rather illegally stream games than go.
Apart from win every week I am not sure what the club can do to alter the mindset of some. As said above though, the ones who do go have generally first class all season.

I'd buy someone's ticket if they can't get there. Cheers Shaun
Re: 2021/22: Brentford v Burnley – Ticket Information
Just seen this has sold out. Gutted! As others have said, if anyone has 2 available I’d happily take them off your hands.
Re: 2021/22: Brentford v Burnley – Ticket Information
Big game, new ground, this was always going to sell out very quickly.
I think the tickets had all gone last Thursday when the loyalty points requirement was at 2000 points.

I’m just going to hop on the tube and go over early and hope someone has a spare one. Nothing lost (other than time) if I can’t get in.

I 100% have a spare ticket. I'm based in London so the ticket would need to be collected from me at the ground/kew bridge station.

Re: 2021/22: Brentford v Burnley – Ticket Information
Morning everyone - I don't suppose anyone has 2 tickets they would be willing to sell? I'm currently working away near London and didn't think I'd be able to make this game, but my rota has changed and I'm working Sunday now instead. My number is 07786 244682 if anyone can help. Many thanks in advance.
