Bamford Out For Season
Blow for Leeds when they confirmed last night that Patrick Bamford will be out for six weeks after a long standing injury returned when he was injured at Wolves.
Their chief medical officer said "the injury (plantar fascitis) has progressed from a tear to a full rupture."
So he'll need rest after that.
Hope he gets better in the summer, but certainly bad news for LUFC.
(BBC sport/Yorkshire Evening Post.)

Re: Bamford Out For Season
Bamford missing and Bielsa's inability to cope with that was ultimately his downfall.
He's done really well once he settled at Leeds, if he'd carried on this season like he had last one, then I would've expected more England call ups.

I had Plantar Fasciitis a few years back and it is the MOST painful thing I have ever suffered. Mine certainly wasn't ruptured either.

Feel sorry for the lad. Bad injury...another one.
Puts Leeds back in the mix, hopefully.

Big blow for Bamford and Leeds, but their 2 recent victories have probably given them enough breathing space to ensure survival.

I had mine treated by acupuncture some six/seven years ago. Never had a peep since.dougcollins wrote: ↑Mon Mar 28, 2022 6:18 pmMine is unpredictable, nothing for months (sometimes years) then wake with it full throttle. It hurts.
Worth considering should you have another flare up.

I had shock wave therapy and so far bar the odd ache and pain, no repetition in nearly 10 years.dougcollins wrote: ↑Mon Mar 28, 2022 6:18 pmMine is unpredictable, nothing for months (sometimes years) then wake with it full throttle. It hurts.

I've been doing similar... shockwave and laser, i'm encouraged to hear that it worked for you.
I was starting to think i was dealing with a Quack.....$130 a pop....& the $60 CBD cream.
I'll give it a bit longer. Thank you.

I invested in some custom orthotic insoles as well at £200+.Taffy on the wing wrote: ↑Tue Mar 29, 2022 9:51 pmI've been doing similar... shockwave and laser, i'm encouraged to hear that it worked for you.

I haven't used them now for a few years but they are hard moulded plastic with a hard rubber coating on top. The opposite of what you would think but they brought instant relief.

Each to their own but I don't like seeing people getting injured.
