Sometimes I think Phil Bird is watching a different game. One chance in 15 minutes = Huddersfield are having a few chances.
 Comes out with some baffling stuff doesn’t he

Chasing shadows, Huddersfield.
They're going to be knackered long before the 90 minutes.
Brilliant half of footy.

Stunning. Absolutely stunning.
Makes the Preston game look like a bad performance. This is the closest I've seen to Total Football outside of old clips of the Netherlands in the 70s.
11/10 all round.

The Town defender should have been booked for cutting that cross out near the end. Outrageous move and would’ve been a glorious goal.

I know Town are as bad as they get in this league but that’s been some performance from our lot.

Close half but I think we just shaded it :D

Gotta give some credit to Warnock as he got one big call right this week when he said we are the best team there's been at this level in the last 25 years whilst he's been in management

A few stats.

82% possession.
13 chances to their 3
4 big chances
3 goals

89% pass success. That's like what Man City get!

Just what the doctor ordered we're coasting to a comfortable win, and Blades and Boro both in danger of spilling points.

Haha - just amazing stuff isn’t it. Inverted full backs, defenders running through to striker positions, Gudmondsson playing some sort of hybrid mezzala role on the left, Zaroury wide one minute but striker the next.

It's a joy. I've been playing a mental game of trying to log the positions everyone's popped up in. I've got Gudmundsson at leftwing, attacking midfield, left back and left centre. Maatsen at left back, left wing and right inside forward. Barnes all the way down the middle. Roberts right back and striker, Beyer and Ekdal as box to box midfielders. Tella right wing, inside left and right back. Zaroury across the entire front three.
It's no wonder Huddersfield can't deal with us even as a spectactor I can't keep track of who's where!

Unbelievable first half, typical I'm at work and having to watch on a stream!

14 clear of 2nd, 19 clear of 3rd as it stands.

Warnock will probably try and do damage limitation in the second half but doubt it will
make a difference

FM fan by any chance? I’m surprised you haven’t got the role of Enganche and shadow striker in there somewhere.

Barnes is clearly a pressing forward who Can operate as a F9 role

It looks like we can score at will. Can’t imagine what could happen if Udders tire. We truly are simply too good. In fairness to Warnock they haven’t tried to rough us up. Ronnie Jepsons son who is a Clarets ST holder told his dad you won’t get a touch of the ball. He was right
