7 changes for City
We might get away with just a half tube of lube

Re: City v Clarets Match Thread
Think this will either be 6-1 or 3-3. My two predictions.

Re: City v Clarets Match Thread
Why would you play a goalkeeper who was playing last time we conceded 5 here? I’d have picked Muric purely because of his lack of baggage, aside from the fact he’s integral to the way we play.
Also would have started with Barnes, who’s probably the only player we have who got a half decent record here.

Re: City v Clarets Match Thread
I'm a big fan of Barnes but Foster gives us more threat behind. And if you look at teams that have had success against City, that's been their method.scouseclaret wrote: ↑Sat Mar 18, 2023 5:35 pmWhy would you play a goalkeeper who was playing last time we conceded 5 here? Just imagine how good Burnley would be if VK had the funds that are available to Pep.

Beyer lucky to get away with that challenge. Strange to go to ground so easily. Replays look a bit scary.

It's like he has these phrases in a bag and just pulls one out randomly and reads it out without looking at what happened on the pitch

Foster missed his chance with the outside of his right peg as Otega messed up.

Great passage of play for us. Genuine pushed them back. After City seemed to have overcome our early energy.
