Apparently McNally had his medical at Stoke today he'll be joining them in a season long loan

Think its a good move for both clubs and player. Stoke one of the better payers in the Championship so you would hope they pick up most/all of his wages. Can see his stock rising in 12 months leaving us with either a valued asset or a "oven ready defender". Well done to him-prepared to go on loan last season, and again this year, and Stoke have a track record for developing defenders. He had a very good 6 months at Coventry and seems to have attracted genuine interest from at least four clubs.For me Stoke are dark horses for the new season, and each year this Division throws up a real surprise. Coventry last season and Forest the one before

The Clarets have been keen on an injection of attacking class for their Premier League return and hope to do a deal for the Villa talent.

Ramsey caught the eye in a loan spell with Middlesbrough last season and could now step up the Premier.

The young bother of Jacob may not start for Villa this season so the time could be right to leave.

In the same breath Warks perhaps VK is trying to follow the England U21 win at the Euros.

They played attacking midfielders deep and it worked a charm, they could easily beat the press and counter at pace from deep.

It would be nice to have a bit more physicality in midfield but I’m more concerned that any incoming midfielders are comfortable on the ball and can protect it in tight areas.

Due to Ramsey‘s age he wouldn’t need to be registered in the 25 man squad list, he played in Villas first 2 pre season games but hasn’t featured since at all

All 3 mentioned are top quality and with sides we don't expect to beat. It's the next level down we must be super competitive against.
