January transfer window - rumours, links and discussion

Post by ArmchairDetective » Thu Dec 14, 2023 10:21 am

Could have sworn I came across a thread for the January window a few weeks back, but couldn't find it via a search. Threads may well get merged if I've missed it. But here goes...

It's that time of year again. Time for rumours, discussion and hopefully minimal arguments. Let's keep it free from abuse and personal remarks.

Burnley are interested in Gent left-back Archie Brown, although face competition for the 21-year-old’s signature from Everton and sides from the Bundesliga and Seria A.

Don't know anything about him, but at least he's a Left Back, sign him up!

Great player. I've followed his career closely for 2 minutes now.

Discussion relating to transfers yes, not pointless debating on tangents

Can’t imagine this is for the first team?

I’ve seen him play once again Apoel in the Europe conference this season, looked miles away from being ready for the prem.

There's no doubt we need a centre forward, perhaps a loan if we can get one good enough.
I actually believe that's about all we'll try to do in terms of incomers, perhaps send a few of our own players out on loan.
