We will beat Fulham
They haven't won up here since 1951. It's just in the footballing stars.
We didn't have a shot on target one year under Dyche and still beat them 2-1.
To put it in perspective, we have won at City in the time they haven’t won here.

Lets hope so price of 2/1 does look good value.
Points wise they are the 2nd worst team on the road.

Re: We will beat Fulham
We are capable for sure BUT we also need to be mindful of the fact that this is a very different game: William and Jimenez didn’t play in the opposing fixture. They’re everything that Fulham’s game is about.
Re: We will beat Fulham
I hope we do but like every game at this level it’s incredibly difficult for this team.
Re: We will beat Fulham
We would have beaten Luton too if Berge was fit, that was a huge blow really.

Possibly, but we've had a few games recently that I was hopeful we'd pick up points. Its difficult to get up for it now knowing we have left it too late.
I was pleased with the second half yesterday though, roll on next season

Can’t think that we can play as bad as last nights performance so we must come out of the traps with all guns blazing on Saturday.

Massengo in for Amdouni, Fofana in for JBG.
4-3-3
Muric would be nice as well but we know it isn't happening
Play our game and be relentless - UTC

I think we’ll beat Fulham ,as the thought of the gap to safety after Liverpool and Arsenal is too bad to even imagine .

Jimenez is out for "weeks" with a hamstring injury, thankfully
Re: We will beat Fulham
If it wasn’t for his horrendous head injury he would’ve attracted the big clubs. Shame for him but still glad he’s not available.ClaretOfMancunia wrote: ↑Thu Feb 01, 2024 2:27 pmJimenez is out for "weeks" with a hamstring injury, thankfully

I used to say that about Aston Villa who hadn't won a league game at Burnley since 1936, that was until NYD 2020, they've now won three out of the last four at the Turf.Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Thu Feb 01, 2024 8:02 amThey haven't won up here since 1951. It's just in the footballing stars.

Re: We will beat Fulham
For most of my time supporting the Clarets, I have expected Burnley to win at home, no matter the opponent. That we would have a right good go.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Thu Feb 01, 2024 3:04 pmI used to say that about Aston Villa who hadn't won a league game at Burnley since 1936, that was until NYD 2020, they've now won three out of the last four at the Turf.
These last few years in the prem have drained that.

Re: We will beat Fulham
Im sorry but i'm in the "every dog has its day" camp.
So while we were suffering 4th division and Rovers were winning the league i always said we would get them one day.
I look at records like Fulhams and think were ripe for the taking.
In fact which fulham players who hasnt scored a goal will probably get the opener or winner

Re: We will beat Fulham
New Brighton were enduring their last season in League football, Atlee was Prime Minister and sugar, meat and cheese was still rationed when Fulham won 0-2 at Turf Moor on 21st April 1954. Since then, they've visited 31 times ( 28 League & 3 Cup ) and have a record of 0-6-25...ClaretTony wrote: ↑Thu Feb 01, 2024 3:04 pmI used to say that about Aston Villa who hadn't won a league game at Burnley since 1936, that was until NYD 2020, they've now won three out of the last four at the Turf.
However, as you say Tony, these records are going to fall at some point, but hopefully not just yet ...
If it does, we can console ourselves that Saturday will mark 13 years, 10 months and 7 days since our last defeat to t'Rovers, since when the record stands at 6-3-0 over the nine intervening games. In the words of Ian Dury, " Reasons to be cheerful, part 1 " !!

Sorry to disappoint but we won't as Iam going on. Honestly cannot remember the last time I saw us win a top flight home game. Probably under Michael Jackson?

Re: We will beat Fulham
I honestly think if we play to our strengths and start Fofana with Foster we have a real chance.
The last 15 minutes against city has got me excited for the first time in a long time for this game.
Here’s hoping we have a season changing result

Hope we win especially as I thought Silva was a bit ungracious after we deservedly won down there earlier in the season.

If my memory isn't playing tricks, I believe that Jay made his debut against Fulham as a sub and scored in the dying minutes to win a cup game.

Think his stats for Bolton were good, but he didnt get another move when they went down unfortunately.
If he had pace and stamina he could have gone right to the top, he was just physically a bit pathetic. Didnt he have asthma too?

We need to make sure we don’t make any silly mistakes against Fulham and I don’t just mean Trafford … This needs be the start of a run with Palace up next .. a draw will feel like a loss I think

We absolutely must beat Fulham. With fixtures against Liverpool and Arsenal next, a draw is not acceptable.
