Not sure. I'm guessing it is one of the various laws that has been changed to accommodate VAR, so fairly recently.

I get that. But the offence is encroachment, not the circumstances in which it occurs. This isn't the case. If a player encroaches they aren't penalised for it unless their encroachment had a material impact on the outcome. The same goes for goalkeepers coming off their line before a kick is taken....

I think pace is our weapon. Newcastle will cause us lots of problems when they go forward but we need to try and isolate Burn and exploit his lack of pace when we counter.

Forest aren’t a bad side. They certainly have more premier league quality than the bottom three. It’s hard to see them not beating Sheff Utd, but here’s hoping.

Strangely, I think we will be safe before the Forest match. Newcastle and Spurs look vulnerable to attacking football, and I believe all the bad luck and VAR decisions we have had this season will even out over the next two matches.
