Re: Summer 2022 Burnley Transfer Window Rumours - Links - Discussion

Cornet turned in to a fan favourite due to his personality and popping up with good goals but tear defences apart!? I never saw him do that once in the premier league. I take your point, but additionally, we had a very rigid set up and the team was struggling. I would imagine we will have a differe...

If they say ‘Burnley’ then they may as well say ‘Mansfield’ or ‘Newport’ as far as the average punter is concerned.

If they say ‘Vincent Kompany’s Burnley’ then they have the attention of far more people.

I don’t get the comparisons with Waddle. He couldn’t be arsed. He was never really interested. He signed some appalling players, one of whom I was surprised was actually a footballer. It’s bonkers. I discussed an album by Kraftwerk on Facebook a few weeks ago, and one guy, honestly, got the hump about it and I quote, ‘after what the Nazis did in the Second World War? Seriously? I guess with the way it has been reported, there's still some 'meat on the bones' regarding Kompany taking over.

Whoever it is, it needs to be ASAP. They will need time to address who is here, who they may want to persuade to stay and ultimately bring their own players in too.
