Kompany will play him until he becomes the best keeper in the world or he is sacked. Seems there is no other option in his mind.
Yes. Or will need a team desperately short of a keeper to bid 15m+ for him (unlikely) and hope that the Mini-man from Del Monte says yes

Re: James Trafford's Contract

Lets face it, the best thing that can happen in this situation is Trafford gets sold over the summer. Sell at a loss, needs must. Then we get a keeper back next season that can pass the ball in a team that tries to pass the ball and so endeth this stupid and endless debate

Yeah, saw that. Very strange. Cop out ? Surely he cannot lay blame on the previous people running things

Vincent Kompany is becoming borderline delusional

Unless we simply beat Chelsea, Bees, Wolves and then Everton. That would get us back amongst it

The only way to get rid of these clowns is to price them out... I have about 150 events business clients on my books and every one of them has priced events specifically so that chavs are discouraged and it's worked... Far less trouble all around... These music and family events will never admit it...

Re: Pope

It's obscene, I'm not just sick of the Saudis, i'm sick of the whole set up. This influx of big investment into certain big city clubs ruins the concept of a "football league". Well yeah then. I agree with that. Better if they fecked off into that 'other' league - regardless of where the owners are...

I hope Newcastle get relegated. Nothing against Nick Pope, just the dirty money in football. Is House of Saud money any more dirty than US money? (or lack of it - some US football club owners have to borrow). Don't see any difference personally. A broader debate eh. Dirt accusations should be throw...

That’s because it FEELS like he has. I’m not saying it’s logical. Logically I know a football club is a business, but in reality it’s so much more than that. What’s the catchphrase, our town, our turf? ALK might be the owner, but it’s our club. Yup. We have been robbed (in broad daylight) of what b...

Good read - and fair

However, (and time will tell) we may look back and think - yep that was as good as it got. And all we (generally speaking) did was complain, bitch and moan. We might want to remember that season as part of the good times rather than forget it

Great to read. Just shows how players can come through and shine later especially for physical reasons. Too much emphasis on power football in teenage years from what i have seen, but its hard to avoid that when it's competitive - good luck to him and hope he enjoys the experience

Nods, the price of £10m, or an initial £12.5 plus additional payments in the case of Collins, is a reflection of perceived potential. If the player lives up to that potential they are worth what the club paid. Should they develop in line with the top end of their estimated potential their value cou...
