Last season's celebrations were fantastic at times. I don't blame him for wanting to bring some of that back for the players and the fans.
What's the point of following football if you can't celebrate when you win.

Re: Kompany to Brighton?
It certainly doesn't feel like the 'natural' time for VK to leave. Still lots of work to be done. Good points made about the timing of his contract renewal last year off the back of links to Spurs/Chelsea. Any young, 'up and coming' manager, or anyone representing someone with a profile such as VK's...

Re: Kompany to Brighton?
I’m not aware he turned down anyone last season. I know there was some daft speculation about Spurs and Chelsea but there was nothing in it. Brighton really do their homework with their head coaches. Would be interested to get the thoughts of the 'Kompany Out' brigade on another Premier League club wanting to poach VK.
Let's hope he's still as invested in the 5 year project as he was when turning down potential suitors last season.

Haven't watched much of this Sheff Utd team this year. But if they're anything like last season I'd be tempted to play Jay Rod due to his aerial ability and experience defending set pieces. At the other end he might do a better job at testing the keeper with some of these chances we've not been maki...

I'm very pro-safe standing and this is a good start. I happen to know details about the topic b...

Sounds as though this won't be the only area to go to safe standing. Longer term everyone that wants to stand could be able to stand and everyone that wants to sit should be able to sit without their view being obstructed by standing fans. Glad to hear that JBL and Esteve look to be signing.
Not overly fussed if we lose the rest, though you'd like to think all three of them would be decent enough to perform well in the Championship. Big money though. We can probably find cheaper hence signing Sambo instead of Assignon.

I don't mind tackles that you used to get away with being red cards. Football is a short career.
But we need more done to stop blatant cheating and diving such as players going down when someone puts a hand on their shoulder. Ruining the game.

Dyche knows how dreadful is our defending of set pieces and will play on that. That's my worry. Otherwise I think we can outplay them. My thoughts on this game exactly. They're a big team. I am not familiar at all with the ins and outs of how a coaching team works, but I don't see why we need a set piece coach when we have one of the Premier League's best ever centre backs as our manager. I don't know who they are but I can't see how their knowledge/skill could be better than VK's.
