Re: O/T "The Godfather"
I think my favourite scene is the meeting of the five families where Don Corleone hushes Sonny. And then the telling-off afterwards …..“Never tell anyone outside the family what you’re thinking again”

Just a fantastic film...definitely my favourite film of all time with Godfather 2 pretty much it's equal. So many scenes I can immediately bring to mind and replay the dialogue..it's just full of brilliant characters and magnificent performances, even in the "minor" roles. Saw the first 4 episodes o...

I've renewed and changed seats slightly ......... just need to reduce the distance to the Turf now. For the last 35 years it has been 280 miles away.... House on the market (again) in May. Looking for somewhere within 1 hour drive of BB10. I know what you mean. Did a 430 mile round trip for 10 year...

It’s all about the base ….. Essential that it’s level and nowadays you can get interlocking plastic tiles which you fit together then fill with pea-gravel. A decent 6x4 foot wooden shed will set you back between £400 and £500.

This is great news. However I imagine a majority pay by direct debit which has therefore “auto-renewed”. If someone is going to cancel their direct debit they are not going to do so before the last game of this season presumably. I hope there won’t be loads of such cancellations after the last game ...

I’m following via a mix of commentary on Talksport 2 and Sky Soccerlab. Unfortunately Tim Sherwood is the person watching on the latter and fair to say his usual anti-Burnley views coming through. According to him Sheff I have “totally dominated Burnley but are 2-0 down”. From the match commentary i...

Agree with the above….. the lack of info on injuries nowadays is just weird. So much analysis but the simple fact is that the first and basic responsibility of a goalkeeper is to stop the ball going into the bloody net. It was an unbelievable error in the circs of both the individual match and our season as a whole and as much as I love watching Muric pass the ball it’s pret...
