Re: This is my worst season ever
Give your head a wobble pal, we’re probably going to get relegated from the top league in the World to a league that’s in the top 10 with a chance to bounce straight back….in 1986/87 we nearly went out of business cos if we’d have lost to Orient we’d have folded…..we’re a million miles away from tho...

Re: ALK’s Strategy: Are We Witnessing A Failing Experiment?
Colburn Claret has absolutely nailed it in his post…it is the only way to go for a club our size…ups and downs will be part and parcel of the project and we as fans have to embrace it. This season has been really poor following the highs of last year but it’s noticeable that the standard of the Prem...

Folk seem to forget how the value of players regularly playing in the Premier League increase irrespective of how they or their team are doing…Koleosho is the one, young, tricky, fast, good dribbler, massive potential, no fear etc and yes I agree the end product needs improving but that will come so...

We’d be absolutely stark raving bonkers to pot Kompany…the guys on a long term programme at Burnley….bringing in exciting young talent with a sell on fee rather than journeymen…it was always going to be tough this season with a young side but we aren’t too far away…for long periods yesterday we were...

The 1986/87 season as a whole…The “Orient game” was quite simply the salvation because up to then the football was as bad as anything you could imagine….a few have mentioned the Crewe away 1-0 defeat but for me, for pure desolation, it was the Hereford Utd 6-0 home defeat on a miserable wet night…I ...

You’re aiming your ire at the wrong people…this is solely, squarely, undeniably the fault of our horse bothering friends up the M65…petty in the extreme BUT it’s not Burnley’s fault…we’re having a fantastic season so demand for tickets is high for all games, some have been lucky for the Ewood game, ...
