Re: Berlin. Advice.sought.

Plus The Kilkenny Pub at Hackerscher Macht if you need football!
Or go to watch Herta at the Olympic Stadium. I think Union Berlin tickets may be harder to get hold of.

Re: Berlin. Advice.sought.

A few further suggestions The Stasi museum in the old Stasi HQ. Plus the nearby Stasi prison. The Topographie of Terror on the old Nazi Gestapo building. The museum Palace of Tears, which is based in one of the old East-West crossing points. The Resistance Museum where the famous plot to kill Hitler...

I can meet you outside the ground at 2 30 if you want my spare Jake. I don’t live in the Burnley area. I will 100% be there.

Adult ticket available for Newcastle

I have a spare ticket for the Newcastle game as one of our group can’t get there due to the rail strikes. It’s an adult ticket, £30.
Does anyone need a ticket?

Questions for club historians

Apologies if these questions have already been covered. 1. Have we ever gone unbeaten at home in a season of league football? 2. If so, have we ever gone unbeaten at home in a full season including league and FA cups? 3. What is the fewest defeats we have had in a season? 4. Tough one. Have we ever ...

Hopefully a bar in can picafort is showing it. Failing that, I'll be on the bus to alcudia
Try William’s Bar on Via Suissa. Run by a great bloke. Shows all English games. Ok for food and beer.

Re: Wout Weghorst

Quick check on Wikipedia:

31 goals in 60 games for AZ67 Alkmaar and then
59 goals in 118 games for Wolfsburg

You would think goals in the championship are possible.

I was told by a decent source that he was interviewed for the Everton job. I think this was in 2018, when Silva got the job.

Re: BWT final Warwickshire v Lancashire

Interesting to see an Up The Clarets favourite, Tim Brennan, in the Warwickshire team. Three county championships for him, two with the cockney kolpack glory boys as well as a third this season aged 36, along with an ICC 2020 World Cup winners medal and an Ashes winner in Australia which enabled Eng...

Of those on the list, only Hammond has a better average than Root (I think).

Re: Callum Styles

My son played futsal with Callum so we got to know him and his family a bit. He was an outstanding player and a really nice lad.
I think it is fair to say the youth set up when Callum left Burnley was a complete shambles and he along with quite a lot of other young players were handled badly.

A player I hate, Claudio Yakob, is available I think.
He basically relegated us by crippling Dean Marney.
Not sure if he is still any good, fit, back in Argentina etc etc.

3-5-2

With the failure to recruit in some key positions, injuries, loss of form and departures, perhaps it’s time to play to the strengths of the current squad? This might work... - whichever keeper is playing better - three best centre halves (3) - Lowton, Westwood, Cork, Hendrick, Ward or Taylor (5) - V...

Bar in Berlin for the Middlesboro game

I'm in Berlin on the 8 April.
Does anyone know of a bar in Berlin that will be showing the game?
Perhaps a long shot.
Many thanks
