Re: Dear PGMOL
For penalty and potential red card outcomes, I’d like to see referees given the option to sometimes hold their decision whilst they review the pitch side monitor. Previso would be that the monitor would replay the incident in normal time only. Should only be used when a referee is genuinely uncerta...

Trafford- 6. Never tested with a particularly big save but made them all, passing was dire and put us under pressure and he flapped at several high balls but he did the most important thing right- stop everything towards goal. Vitinho- 5. Big Vitinho fan, not his best today, struggled a lot to deal...

Re: How do we get rid of VAR?
Simple. Make it AI and automated. When not automatic increase the margin of error to just catch the complete howlers. Otherwise stay with the on field decision. Add a 2 min timer for decisions... Give coaches one challenge each. It works in other sports because the on field ref/umpires retain the de...

Hey knew exactly where the ball was. Utter tripe this. I don't think that is right re De Grandhomme. He wasnt looking for a single, he wasn't sure where the ball had gone and was distracted by the appeal and so didn't know he was out of his ground. It's the fact he didn't know he was out of his grou...

Dave Baldwin always used to tell us that if you have 3,000 tickets with 6,000 wanting them then no matter which way you do it, 3,000 are disappointed.

A lot of the away tickets are bought for friends and family using season ticket holders points. They then pick and choose the games they want and reep the points either way. Let's be honest. There isn't a fair system. Given how we were last season I imagine the appetite will have increased massively...

A sea of wealthy plastics. Can't see it. Lots have years of season ticket history that unfortunately doesn't relate to the current points tally and therefore use family and friend points to access games (unfairly). Makes sense to me. Might be they need to up the price.
But it will bring additional revenue and pretty common across most clubs in the Premier.
Let's face it the points system isn't exactly fair and equitable either.

Simple this. Increase the size of the VAR lines to 1 foot in width and call it the margin or error which needs to be overcome. On field refs get the margin of error otherwise overturn the obvious.
