35 games in and Kompany still hasn’t realised you can’t play fanny around at the back footy in the Premier league. Works great in the Championship though where you don’t get punished. Maybe he’s prepping them for next season.

He’s celebrating the fact we’ve won a game and given him an outside chance of staying in the premier league. We were dead and buried a few weeks ago. I’d be celebrating too.

I spend a lot of time in France, the perception that the French are not responsive to non french speakers isn't true. Depends where you are. Are there any French speakers left in Marseille? If you’re into live bands etc spend an evening in Long Island City just across the bridge from Manhattan (nice walk too). Also there’s an old railway walk in South West Manhattan somewhere. Nowadays anything above Watford is classed as the North. Definitely in terms of funding. It’s the same here in Australia. NSW now stands for Newcastle, Sydney, Wollongong. Everywhere else gets nothing.

He’s a decent player that didn’t have the best of times at Burnley (to be fair young foreign players never really do). Definitely not Premier league quality but I’d take him in the Championship. From what I saw of him in A league he’s got a good work ethic, a good footballing brain but lacks technic...

Yes. Then promoted into that European 3rd tier crap. For now. Eventually a closed shop and a top tier competition only will be the outcome. That is what they set out to do with the Super League. Let 'em off the Championship will become the top tier of English Football and we'll be Champions in...

I’m actually going to buck the trend and say I’m pleased with this decision. UEFA and FIFA are corrupt to the core, once again showing that with the Saudi World Cup. This paves the way for a break away World Cup.

Villa fans are from Aston, a city in its own right, similar to Salford and Manchester. Everton is just a small suburb in Liverpool and Vale fans will tell you they’re from Burslem. Actually, Stoke wasn’t really a place, it’s a mass of towns placed together under one name. City Centre I believe is ca...

First one I give the referee the benefit of the doubt. No doubt whatsoever, from his angle it looks like Kolly tripped over the defender. However, that’s what VAR is for and there was no excuse for Pawson not to give it. Disgraceful VAR. Second one referee saw it and got it right. Then Pawson seemed...

I’ll pass on the OFC. There’s literally no competition in it and games are win by rugby scores. Even New Zealand aren’t really at Australia’s level. Most here think the OFC should just merge with the AFC.

The Premier league was formed so the top clubs didn’t have to share the TV money throughout the league. Parachute payments were a sweetener to keep 3 promotion and relegation spots.
