Re: Forest points deduction appeal
I view this as near100% certain we are down, anything else is a bonus. I have zero expectation of a fair outcome in this issue, even if they don’t give points back our position remains highly challenging. If we do go down, it will be due to, in this order: 1. Errors in selection and performances on...

Re: So do you drop Muric after two massive costly howlers?
It's as if neither keeper is the required quality needed at this level. One has the excuse of youth on his side (though traditionally young keepers are rarely a great idea). The other had a season where he played well in terms of distribution but always had a clanger about him and wasn't that great ...

Re: The cost of playing out badly
Very high risk, high reward. There is a reason why only a few teams can get the balance right and even then there occasional mistakes. But matters less for them as they have the capability to make up for it. Last season we looked able ro do it against much weaker teams (invariably looking for the ou...

Wasn't at the game so please correct me if I'm wrong but how convincing were we vs 10 men?
The only thing which might give us any hope is what our run in looks like in respect of teams already on the beach.

Would look so much better if we hadn’t had the points against Forest and Luton stolen from us by shocking VAR decisions Whilst I agree we have had numerous chances to take points which we have failed to do. Talented though Tella was the system we had set him up perfectly. Short passing which saw Jay drop deep and the opposition would push up gradually to try and squeeze the play as they becane more frustrated. We'd then play a quick ball over the top for him to run onto. I think we have the tools with ...

Great example of the difference in the teams. Cook plays a lovely ball forward to Semedo, nicely weighted. If that was us the ball would have been a yard short. Very much a manager of his day, incredible in his younger career but seems to have lost it. One of those managers who the players loved but also could fall out with quickly. I see this as VK making a statement about us staying up, the issue being that no moves in the transfer market could be seen as us throwing in the towel. Did some rough stats on this, to get to 37 points we need to be averaging 1.4 points a game. Our current average is 0.6. Newcastle are a team who are the closest to averaging this by the way, it's a very strong ask. I think this means we need 8 wins minimum (probably 9). Aside from Luton and Sheff U...
