Local rugby club is $6 for a 745ml big bottle - about 3 quid. Cheapest drinking by far!
Otherwise, a decent pint on tap would be $10 to $12 - 5 or 6 quid.

Been to Panama though, we went up to Gamboa and into the rainforest which I'd highly recommend.

My rating is 1845 (last time I looked). I’ve not been under 1800 for a couple of years but never have quite made it to 1900 (highest was in the 1890s). When you start at first your rating is usually defaulted to around 1200 but goes up quickly if you win a few games. 1700 is considered good club pl...

If white queen moves to g8 then black Knight puts white in check, so more than two moves.
Nxg6 +
Bxg6 ++
Still checkmate in two.

Re: Chess puzzle
OK, if you move Q to g8 there are only 3 black pieces that can move. Kn to E6, G6, D7 or H7, P to E6 and Rook can go 4 places up H. None of those stop mate if Q then goes to A8 and if The Knight doesn't move to allow that you can go B to D5. What am I missing? Nothing. I still can't see how that's ...

It's the 2 move thing which is annoying me. You're right - BxG3 leads to mate too. But pointless as it is, PxD6 leads to check which will draw it out longer than 2 moves. In fact, that move rules out a bunch of answers on the basis it will add an extra move (or two). Thats why I thought you'd have t...
