I’d be happy for him to leave. We have a bloated squad and he hasn’t done enough. He’s a very ‘streaky’ player who can have good spells but then you see nothing from him for large swathes of the game. And I mean nothing.

While there is an undoubted gulf between the Premier League and Championship, PNE fans were saying that was one of their worst performances in quite a while, even suggesting some had downed tools. While the manager has them about par in the league, he's very unpopular with a lot of the support.

As mentioned above, do try and book a tour of the Reichstag. It’s free and well worth your time. Burgermeister is good for…burgers but a bit hyped up so can get busy. Kreuzberg has gentrified somewhat but it’s still easy to end up in some sketchy areas so just have wits about you if you end up there...

There was a clip of Pickford after the last Euros where he went back home to see his family etc and he came across as a very grounded, down to earth lad. He’s a moaner on the pitch and a bit of a character but I think the game needs a bit of that.

Doesn’t Howe like to play quite a possession based style? Pope played the way he did here because he was told to. Excellent players are often pretty adaptable, which is what Pope is. I’m not saying his distribution is necessarily as good as Muric, but he certainly has enough about him to play out.
