Re: Everton fans in home end
Love how the outcome of the investigation is basically pre-warning Burnley fans when it's their complete **** up that's led to this in the first place. Get that clown Russell Ball potted, please. Russell Ball won't have made the decisions that led to this fiasco. Time after time when anything goes ...

Re: The Catering Longside
I understand Russell Ball is getting slated for the shambles due to him being in charge of 'fan experience', but the clubs Director of Operations is Doug Metcalfe.. is this fella totally unaccountable? What exactly is his highly paid role at the club?

People are saying this is Warnock's doing but don't forget Dave Baldwin is the Managing Director who I assume would have had to offically sanction the complaint.

Just a point of interest did any Burnley players of the past actually play in a team with Pele or against Pele?

The senior management at the club are extremely lucky that a player hasn't been seriously injured on that North stand run off. Its like an ice rink when it gets wet. Cost cutting at its finest. Instead of doing the right thing and putting the rubber material the whole way along, they decided to end ...

Absolutely! There are clearly going to be published criteria which have to be met and have to be monitored by the PGB to ensure they continue to be met. Basically hoops to be jumped through. Anybody with an ounce of wit or common sense simply jumps through them and bingo, passes with flying colours...

Re: ARTICLE: Clarets await news after academy concerns
It would be shocking if we lost our current status! Can ALK get anything right? I doubt ALK are to blame for this.. certain senior management already at the club were told a long time ago of the issues that needed addressing in order to keep it's cat 1 status and they assured the auditor's this wou...

Ian woan and Steve Stone are a couple of extremely obnoxious and arrogant egomaniacs who find it very easy to talk to people like they're a piece of s***. Tony Loughlan on the flip side is more easy going and maybe because he never played the game at the same level as the afore mentioned this made h...

Re: The grass was too high
What about the great results we've had against Liverpool for example? The only team to take points off them at Anfield when they won the league. The first team to beat them at Anfield in quite a few seasons. And we've also drawn three times and won once away at Chelsea. I'd say that's a far better ...

Dyche has used this tactic against every top 3 or 4 side ever since we've been in the Premier League and it's barely ever paid off. He seems to think it will give us a good advantage but I know for a fact he never even tells his own players what the plan is and they only find out when they start war...

Re: Trip hazard CCTV pole and kerb on Cricket field road
My advice after experiencing how the management at Bfc work is to go directly to Alan Pace otherwise nothing will be done. Its called arrogance and the Senior Management team smacks of it. The supporters and issues like these are an inconvenience to them. Hopefully in time the chairman will realise ...

Doug Metcalfe is the stadium manager, not sure who the SLO is these days since Anita Goodenough left last year I think? Doug Metcalfe is now ' Director of Operations' whatever that is. The club also appointed Russel Ball as 'Head of Matchday Operations' last year. Fancy titles but still Tin pot set...

Re: New Turf Moor Colour Scheme
For many years now the stadium has looked tacky and garrish with doors, gates and walls painted in various shades of claret and blue without actually matching the clubs true colours. Since when has that colour of blue on the outside gates and turnstiles been on the shirts or crest? As morbid as the ...

3g?? :D Its approaching its shelf life now but it's still playing reasonably well considering. This was its 10th match since the turn of the year and 5 of those were in Feb. Do they frequently aerate the pitch, which is routine procedure? This would definitely benefit any compaction or as you described it " very tight in the top couple of inch" He's more than clued up on how to maintain a Desso pitch and it's requirements. I believe it's not a general compaction issue....

We got a point last week against Chelsea on it and it's fair to say that if it had been like a bowling green we'd have got totally outplayed by them. The following week we get beat by a non league side who will have played on worst pitches this season, and suddenly it, and the groundsman is to blame...

Re: The state of the pitch.
So the fact that the pitch this season was looking the best it had up to Christmas has gone unnoticed? Yesterday was the 8th game since Boxing Day so the groundsman hasn't had the chance to get the few lights he has on the pitch for anywhere near the length of time needed for them to work. They've b...
